Now that we've ruled out at least one of the common possibilities, the app only shows 100% certain commons (well, maybe we should say 99%, weird things can happen) and now that we know where the commons are, we have an idea about where the rare card could be located.
If you have opened any of those 25% rare packs, that just narrows down your options. If you want to take it to the next level, you can use a digital scale on all of the packs that say 25% rare and only open the heaviest.
Absolutely incredible. When all was said and done, I was able to narrow it down to the two in the right side column. I picked wrong at first, but not a big deal.
Ended up being a foil Thespian's Stage, which isn't an exciting foil, but just the fact that it can be figured out like this...amazing.
Last time we did a box, my wife wanted to just blow through it using the iPad app, but I made her slow down long enough to let me follow along on Excel and try to figure it out myself. This just adds another layer of complexity that I look forward to applying.

Your row 7 goes to the bottom as you assumed. Your top row goes to row 5. And there is a pack removal in that same row which would have been a #2 pack appearing right before the #5 pack.
Also, I've just added lots of pack moving support in the about-to-be-released v1.2.3.. For boxes that have had packs move around during shipment. (this isn't one of them. This is just an oddity I've never seen before.)
I'm still testing lots of boxes on it right now. But should be available soon. And it will fix the majority of the few problems I've seen lately.
New version of the GTC app made it out for consumers on iOS yesterday. I mention this because I don't know if you have to wait on updates for your devices like us plebes or not, being the author and all, Vinz. This way you know when your published versions get pushed out to us layfolk. Anyway, this is the version that has the foil tab.
I dont have an ipad android, smart phone or equivalent. Is there a website that has a box mapper I can use?

I think my pattern is 4-2-5-3-1 but I only see it once. I think the first two columns have to be swapped. I'm still hashing out the rest.

And it'd be nice to have this with the other emails of sleeve maps that I've solved. That way when I'm adding new sleeve pattern recognition routines to my app I can quickly look-up and identify which ones should be added next.

Yes, I'm going to take a look at them. I'm currently working my way backwards through the sets. I've just added foil support to AVR too, and when I get to INN/DKA I will take a closer look at the DFCs at the same time.
I'm also going to be adding a problem sleeve map submission option directly into the program soon too. But if anyone else is still having a problem with their sleeve map while using my app in the meantime, send a direct email if you want a quick answer. Don't bother waiting for the next version to correct it. It'll also give me a better idea of what to improve next.

They're good tools to solve a fun puzzle. It isn't even really about "pulling money" or anything, but really about cracking the code...I still like to do things manually, and use this for confirmation, and it's a godsend for that.

I feel the same way. Today I ran through a whole bunch of foil data and learned lots of things. And I have a much better understanding of the logic behind the decision to include certain foil lands in the uncommon track. And I've learned some new things that I'm not sure yet if I can figure out. I certainly welcome the challenge though.

Ok...here's one for you.
If I'm using my iPad at my LGS to map RTR...including foil data, and I don't have internet connectivity, obviously that isn't uploaded to the cloud. NOW...if I go home, and I've never exited the app, and I turn on my iPad after it's connected to my home WiFi, and I'm immediately in my mapped data, will you receive that? Or does it need to be connected at the time of entry?
Hey Vinzito, bought your app today to try and map some boxes (with much anticipation), but it seems to not have worked out so well. I think my box is beyond scrambled. Here are the sleves
As a preface, I haven't gone through anyone's data to try to solve anything, but speaking from experience, double and triple check your sleeve map. I just did a box today, and after I input the sleeve map, it gave me the unmappable message. I checked through things again, and I had ONE sleeve wrong. Once I fixed it, it worked perfectly.
Is there any data at all on Belgium boxes for GTC? I've look through the thread, but I couldn't find one box of Belgium (although I may have missed a post or two). I'm pretty sure they still print some boxes in Belgium, just not English.

Well, I just went through all of the sets to add foil support a few days ago. There are a lot of similarities in M13 compared to RTR or GTC. There are also a lot of things that are different.
If you are only interested in where the commons/rares/uncommons are then for the most part you can get by with using the same technique, it staggers occasionally though, It'll go 32, 32, 16, 32, 32. Or 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8, 4, 8, etc. If you are tracking the actual card names that is where you'll notice most of the difference.
