He is very good but not $30 worth, that's all SCG hiking prices as usual, two weeks from the game day when they've sold all their stock and backup at $30 they'll put it back at $25, then control will suit-up against him and he'll go down to $15-20 depending on those control decks playing him or not.
Then if black gets a single good removal in DGM he becomes a $10 rare.
It's definately one of the best combat creatures ever and the best combat creature in standard, but againt control Thragtusk is better and in an enviroment with better removal (why he's not breaking modern apart) he's even worse against control than thrag. We've got mana bases amazing enough to play the very best of all colors, he's just shining so bright because the right control deck hasn't appeared and he completely dominates damage/creature based interactions.

Yes sir, I take fantasy art and character design commissions, PM me for rates.
I love how people are so quick to insult SCG on this site and ignore facts. The week before the PT, Reckoners were 20+ on eBay. Of course they're gonna go up from there after the PT where it was such a huge card.

So huge it's already sinking.
It'll stick at $20.

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.

I don't think already would be a very good word to use almost two weeks after my post.

Consider Snapcaster Mage and Deathrite Shaman.
Both have gotten cheaper from their peaks, but both have higher stability thanks to Modern playability.
The turn 4 combo with Reckoner is cute, but American control would rather pack Vendilion Cliques to disrupt Twin.
