In DKA there was some pretty nice things. Like Vorapede and Ghoultree. Why does no one run different cards in wolf run. I would at least like to see Helvault. you tell me what was the craziest thing you ever put in to wolf run. Thank you and have a good day.

You would like to see a card that does nothing to help the deck go in the deck? Wolf Run can run Karn if they wanted to do something with 7 mana and they would be left with a better permanent than helvault. Wolf Run is pretty customizable. As long as it helps stream line the deck most useful cards in those colors could definitely see some play in them
Trying new things is all well and good, but not when it just flat-out makes your deck worse, just for the sake of trying to be "original". if Karn didn't exist, Helvault could be a way to win the titan war in the mirror match, even then it's probably loose. It's not completely out of the question tho. If only we had Mind Spring. Even Coiling Oracle would probably make it work. Then UG might be viable, Zenith not going to the graveyard (axing any additional sweet interactions with Snapcaster Mage) hurts. Tho it may still warrant a slot. Being on Mana Leaks/Dissipate, Dungeon Geists, and Frost Titans in a world of Wolf Run seems like a good place to be tho.

When i said HELVAULT i was useing it as an example not being serious. It was just to clear up the idea of useing more cards. The only person that got it was Master Mearik. You are suppose to say what you use different in wolf run.

Karn is definitely the most common. I know my friend who has been running green for all his life love throwing Karn in as a "power trip". I also know he converted his wolf run into an elves-ish thing with Ezuri and Archdruids, etc.
Honesty, i said that I used Helvault as an example. The thread was created to say what u used diffrent in wolfrun. I said helvault because i had to say something about DKA to post here. Just post what u use diffrent in wolfrun. Its that easy.

Vorapede is bad, tried it, and I just rather have any other WR based creature over it...just way to slow, no impact when cast, and Vapor Snag just sucks...
for the record tho I run Jund colors, works amazingly well, so much removal + beats +WF= Win...
Probably have some of the more unorthodox cards in it though.....def different from any other Jund build I've seen.

vorapede does look like a good card. i didn't use him yet, but somehow i have 4 now. it's not good enough to be mythic though, it's more like a dollar rare.
using helvault as an example makes no sense. it is a card in DKA, bu that's all. it's not a card one would actually put in a deck.
helvault would be a cool card to put in a deck. i don't like the overpricedness of it, but i do like a challenge.

But you said so yourself in your first post. "I would at least like to see Helvault." If your a Timmy player, yeah that's cool. No shame in loving bad cards. But don't try to twist your own words to sound better.
Wow at people not dropping the Helvault thing and getting the point. I dont play Wolf Run but I've played against it plenty. The craziest thing I've had to play against was Wolf Run splashing Plains and Swamp for a Vault of the Archangel.

4 mana exile your guy.
7 mana exile your opponents creature? That's WAY to slow. So exile a guy for 7 mana or get in 4 extra points of damage.
And when it gets destroyed all the mana you spent in wasted. It's a horrid card.

I've been loving Karn in my Wolf Run, though. But as already stated, Karn has become relatively common in Wolf Run decks.
