I made a really solid UB control deck, and I also made a pod deck. UW Hexproof seems really strong, near impossible to beat. the legendary guy hits really stupid hard, swords enable them well, and even if you counterspell all the creatures, swords, and angelic destiny, UW has a LAND that creates 1/1 flyers better than squadron hawks. I'd make links, but im running out the door and I wanted to get the conversation started.
You're playing black. Play Black Sun's Zenith, at least in the sideboard. It's a great card and it'll be useful in other match ups too, especially if White Weenie or W/G tokens take off.
Have 4 zeniths. For now, in this unknown meta, people usually gravitate towards aggro, in whic the zeniths help out. stopping hexproof puts the zeniths on double duty.
Actually, I'm starting to think that ___ Blade decks, if hated enough, won't even be that effective. An invisible stalkerwithout something to swing isn't impressive. The Saint is nice, but fragile. Ancient Grudge is scary, and it gives aggressive red/green decks a huge edge over you. Every white deck will run Oblivion Ring.
That's why I believe that Angelic Destiny is a must in any ___ Blade deck. Heck, one day the deck may even be called ____ Destiny.
PS: I call them ____ Blade because there are soooo many names going around for them right now. So I've coined _____ Blade or "blank blade".
Vess, Geth's verdict, blacksun, despise, how many answers do you need. really look deeper into the whole of the the meta and you'll find what your looking for.
It's an instant speed 5/5 trampler for 4. Wtf do you people want seriously? It has applications in populate/ above the curve beats decks, or in Bant control/ flash. I seriously think anyone mad at this card for any reason other than losing an attacker to instant speed wurm, should go home and make their own awesome card game and leave the rest of us alone.
___ Blade decks are suceptibal to artifact/enchantment hate.
Not unless they are playing Invisible Stalkers. Otherwise, the sword/Destiny is purely a bonus.
The point of the decks is to create card and tempo advantage with almost every single card in the deck. If you trade 1-for-1 you are losing. If you board in dead cards like Ancient Grudge that only answer 3 things in the Caw deck, you are losing.
Your best bet, I think, is to attack, preferably from an angle that the deck has trouble answering a la Birthing Pod.

Without a piece of equipment or an enchantment Stalkers are pretty easy to kill. Plus no one has mentioned Day of Judgement as an answer.

Not really -- you still have to have a Wrath or Slagstorm to kill them. The point is that without a Sword or Aura, who cares if your opponent has an Invisible Stalker?
Splash white for divine offering if swords are a problem. Play black sun's zenith and life's finale, at least some in the board. Play draw spells to refill your hand. Not ponder, draw spells. Blue sun's zenith.

It may be a bit 'spensive, but Contagion Clasp is another way to wipe out things like Invisible Stalkerwithout nuking anything of your own. It's also mildly more flexible since you can tutor it with Treasure Mage and it only requires colorless mana.

Oh! I didn't think that's what you meant! Eh, if they JUST have an Invisible Stalker then I think they should be more worried about your board than you should their board

Can't tell if you're trollin or serious, but I'll take the bait and correct you anyway.
Contagion Clasp cannot target an opponent's Invisible Stalker due to Hexproof. Treasure Mage cannot search for Contagion Clasp as the cmc of the Clasp is not "6 or greater".

Sweepers and sacrifice effects will be your best deal. Or just some discard to rid them of equipment, making their hexproofed small creatures pretty much useless, save for Geist of Saint Traft, who can still swing for a lot, but then he can just be chumped easily anyways. Black has 2 sweepers in standard, but i don't think you'd need to look into Life's Finale.
sorry but I have to ask.. What is this "unstoppable" list. Hard to give suggestions against a list that I don't know. Only the stalker is unblockable as well as hexproof atm.
Assuming Sword of War and Peace, then yeah, just Naturalize the things. That particular version of the deck seems to be all-in on the hexproof/enhance plan, and if you take out the enhancements then the creatures aren't very impressive.
Or play Tempered Steel and wreck him.

If ____ Blade decks becomes a problem run these cards either main or side:
White - Oblivion Ring, Divine Offering, Revoke Existance, Stoney Silence
Blue - Disperse, Steel Sabotage, and counterspells in general
Black - Black Sun's Zenith, and Liliana of the Veil? That's the best I got for black.
Green - Acidic Slime, Naturlize, Beast Within, Bramblecrush
Red - Ancient Grudge, Ancient Grudge, Ancient Grudge, Ancient Grudge, and Crush.
Colorless - Phyrexian Revoker

This. And, I hear Slagstorm tore up Block Constructed. It nearly single-handedly made Metal/Big Red competitive.

That's why they probably aren't the best choice.
If you're worried about the land you have Ghost Quarter and Nihil Spellbomb, both of which will nullify the land.

Any more questions? I mean, honestly... Are we going to have this issue every single time a creature comes out with Shroud or Hexproof...?

no it's not, Clasp targets.
ah! makes a ton more sense then. yeah, very expensive but it will totally work.
4 Mirran crusader
4 Geist of Saint Traft
4 Invisible Stalker
4 Angelic Destiny
3 Sword of Feast and Famine
1 Sword of Fire and Ice
4 Oblivion Ring
4 Mana Leak
was the base of the deck.
