Kuldotha Forgemaster5
Artifact Creature - Construct T, Sacrifice three artifacts: Search your library for an artifact card and put it onto the battlefield. Then shuffle your library.
The goblins say it used to be larger, before it began to stoke the Great Furnace with pieces of itself.
3/5
Maybe the Galvanizer Myr + Palladium Myr / Mana-Myr + [Variable Combo Piece] can use this to search for a needed piece?
Yeah, I guess your right. Hmm, what other uses could be used by such a resistant creature with five toughness be?
Bringing out Platinum Emperion with this as a way to cheat something in, perhaps? Also everyone at home, do you think you got any good uses for a large robot that tends to a large furnace? Anything really that normally was out of your reach for certain artifact cards? Anything.
Well, I suppose you could mana Myr to try to ramp this out, and tutor out whatever huge artifact monster shows up in the next few weeks. Five mana shouldn't be too hard to manage, between the Myr and Everflowing Chalice. It really needs a good finisher to search for, though, and once Darksteel Colossus rotates out there won't be any from Zendikar or M11. It's entirely dependent on what else Scars brings...
use it as a scars-of-mirrodin toolbox. grand architect works wonders here with trinket mage.
you can use the forgemaster, hopefully with mana leak backup, to dish out some behemoth silver bullets.
according to the board, you can tinker into:
a) contagion engine, to:
--proliferate the chalice
--proliferate jace
--whittle the aggro board
b) platinum emperion, for
--decks that can't handle 8 toughness
--decks with no removal
--phatty beats
c) steel hellkite, for
--punishment
--flying turbo-charged beats
d) mindslaver, to
--herp di derp
--a durp-a-doo
you can use trinket mage to grab everflowing chalice (saucy with architect) or mox opal, or even memnite if necessary. you can use architect to speed into your big spells. you can refill your hand with jace and his ingenuity, and set up your draws with halimar depths + fetches.
this deck seems like it has incredibly quick ways to put some sort of feces on the opponents head. between silver myr, everflowing chalice, trinket mage, and the architect, early forgemasters/mindslavers aren't unrealistic.
the deck, of course, pending change as the set is revealed. memnite probably won't make the cut in the end.
i think we maybe getting the pieces to a Clone Shell build. Um so what happens when you use this to put the shell into play because you put the creature into play and then shuffle.
This guy is completely busted! People are going out of their way to play crappy cards so they can use Mox Opal. Well, here's an actual good use for Opal- you can sac it to this guy! You can eat up your Memnites, Ornithopters, and Whatnot and drop a Wurmcoil Engine in play. Or a Steel Helkite. Or Platinum Emperion. Or whatever big dumb fattiebomb gets spoiled next. This guy turns junk into gems, and that is such a powerful ability in Magic.
But wait! There's more! He's got a big enough butt to block Vengevine and most other non-Titan grounpounders. That's pretty important.
And you can play the Myr mana dudes to help get him out faster and hold the fort until you sac them for something better. This guy rocks in every format from Block to Vintage. He is totally unappreciated right now, but that will change.

WoTC, thank you for finally announcing the Modern format, an eternal format where everyone can participate.
Elixir of Immortality being able to reshuffle the sac'd artifacts back into your deck, including your already used Mindslaver. Doing this allows you to keep reusing Mindslaver, just as long as you can keep an Elixir in play.
The first thing that came to my mind was one of my personal favorite johnny cards: Skill Borrower. With Forgemaster on the top of your library from a Ponder or something, you can use the much more reasonably costed Skill borrower to use it's effect and put itself into play or whatever else you may want.
I didn't like this guy right off the bat, but now I'm starting too. Yet another guy making me miss Lightning Greaves though. In a 2 color deck you'll have access to 8 spellbombs that can be sacked to this guy and still draw a card. Not having the obvious target of Darksteel Colossus sucks though. There are four other mentions of Kuldotha in the orb, which I find interesting. Also, we've had what, 2 red cards spoiled? And red is supposed to have synergy with artifacts going to the graveyard, so there may be a great combo yet to be seen.
i mean, realistically speaking, myr battlesphere might not even be a playable card in t2...but the last time i wanted to play with a card so badly was when they spoiled goblin guide.

Much more interesting in larger formats where Myr Servitor can be played.
Good with Ornithopters and Memnites, though.
