Could work in a Threaten-based list that steals creatures to attack with then sacs it via things like Momentous Fall or steals it via Bazaar Trader? But this is working on the assumption that you will be facing creature lists. After all, UW control is alive and well.

Very true. Obviously the list would run it's own creatures and then go for popping Sarkhan's ultimate as the alternate wincon.
Both Sarkhans...really, saying "Jund" didn't help you get what I meant by both of them? If I'm talking about Sarkhan, what other "them" would there be?
It's not terrible, but it's more a fun casual card than an Spike. His ultimate is too situational to be reliable, and does big damage only when you're already winning, his 0 ability is only usseful when Vol's loyalty is low or you're desperate for a solution, and his-2 ability is cool and fun but I rather cast a broodmate instead of him.
I want two for my kitchen table Radkos deck.

Yawgmoth, the ruler of Phyrexia, Lord of the Wastes, Father of Machines, is DEAD. He's passed on. He is no more! He has ceased to be! He is expired and gone to meet his maker! He is a stiff! Bereft of life, he rests in peace! He kicked the bucket, He has shuffled off his (apparently)mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!

...Sarkhan Vol, not Sarkhan the Mad. I'm not going to get into a Sarkhan the Mad argument, because Sarkhan the Mad is pure awesome, and there are already two other threads discussing why this is true.
Vol is his middle name (itn't it ?)...lol, i will make sure to reffer him by mad vol or something. But yeah, i'm talking about the mad. I have no doubt that he's amazing, but not "spike" amazing, just "great flavor and play with my friends" amazing. I maintain my opinion until watching him in action when Eldrazi goes legal. Until then, well, I could open 20 threads about Dijin of the wishes but that wouldn't make him constructed worthy, right ?

it would be great the get sarkhan vol's ultimate on the table and then follow it up with sarkhan the mads ultimate 2nd phase. Schwing. extremely situational though and not all that cool.
Unfortunatly Garruk Wildspeaker exist and as long he exist sharkan will never see any amount of serious play.
One can protect himself while the other can't.(Aka Garruk)
One is good on his own while the other is dog poo.(Aka Garruk)
One have a relevent ultimate ability.(Aka Garruk)
A Jund build with both of them could easily be made that abuses the sacrifice effects in those colors.

The kicker variant in WWK will be "Kicker without a kicked effect." - proven wrong Jan 2010 : 2 wrongs
Decks:
:symu::symb: Bloodchief Ascension - Modern
:symb::symr: Rakdos, the Defiler - EDH
:symu::symb::symw: Sharuum the Hegemon - EDH

Don't think I'd agree though, since the -2 can't fire every turn though.

I think it's pretty much a no brainer...
Romeo, O Romeo, can i haz romeo?
instead of a threaten effect, what would you have his -2 ability do?
