If a source would deal damage to Swans of Bryn Argoll, prevent that damage. That source's controller draws cards equal to the damage prevented this way.
Note: This name was confirmed by the orb (Bryn=2, Argoll=2, Swans=2) and the Japanese name from the Japanese magazine's website which spoiled it.
Point 1: The name seems random enough to be an anagram. I have no idea of what, but I'm sure someone clever out there might have an idea. If you come up with something good that's an anagram for the name, post it here.
Point 2: Discuss the card, of course.
What do you think? Good for milling decks, to be sure. Infinite combo with Chain of Plasma. Anything that combos with Stuffy Doll combos with this as well, such as Fatal Attraction. The difference between this and Stuffy is that this can swing for four in the air, and can also give you a huge advantage in cards, if you play it right. If you play it wrong, however, it can backfire disastrously.

Yes, this is Swan's Song. Swan's Song is not the official name, just what the card was called because we couldn't figure out the Japanese translation. Now we have the whole card name.

The worst things about changelings is that you can't use them with Goblins of the Flarg.
That will do me. Brilliant. Flarg.dec will be completely hosed by the changelings. Now if your opponent could give you one - your Flargs would still be ... gone.
My english is very bad, so i'm not sure this phrase has any sense, but i think yes...
Swan of Bryn Argoll= "far an glob's lorwyn"
It has any sense in english?
Not quite, but I hadn't thought of using the whole name rather than just "Bryn Argoll". And we do have the letters for "Lorwyn" in there. Good sleuthing.
Ha! That would be annoying. Yeah, I didn't mention Pariah in the opening post, but it was floating around in the ol' noggin somewhere. This card is really pretty decent for milling decks.
Guys, you're overanalyzing the name to a large degree. The reason that it doesn't make sense much in English is because it isn't English. It's Welsh.
Bryn = 'hill' in Welsh OR a common first name
Argoll = a modification of 'argol', which is a popular fantasy name from Welsh.
There's a much simpler reason that 'lorwyn' is found in there, and that's because they both use the morphemes of the same language; i.e., Welsh (and Celtic languages more generally).

Just an idea I was toying around with. My friend and I have playtested a few games with this deck already. The sideboard has Protective Bubble, because against a monored deck, quite often you just left them draw more cards. Even with the Protective Bubble on the Swan, Pyroclasm and Sulfurous Blast let you draw cards. You can also Fatally Attract the Swans or even evoke a Spitebellows targeting them. It's fun and interesting. I could see a finely-tuned version of U/R Swans becoming an anti-aggro metadeck.
P.S. You can even Desert the Swans after you attack your opponent!
People are thinking a URbuild, but that has the card drawing already (though more can't hurt!)
RWdecks need some card drawing, and with some protection creatures and Rmass removal, that's a pretty decent combo. Burrenton Forgetender, Mistmeadow Skulk, Soltari Priest, Paladin En-Vec, Tivadar of Thorn in the SB... Maybe we'll see some other pro creatures and maybe some new R quake effects in SHA.
Two problems with Corrupt: Corrupt benefits from having a mono-black deck (unless you are running Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth), and, more importantly, since Swans of Bryn Argollprevents the damage that would be dealt to it, Corrupt would not net you any life.
hahaha, I like this one, since Shadowmoor is shaping up to be this year's throwaway 4th set like Coldsnap, and I think "angry" accurately describes the art
Rival's Duel.. target the Swans + something of a heavy beater for your opp, maybe a giant with high power & low toughness = Card draw for You + removal for your opp's critter.. kill 2 birds with one stone much?

If you target Swans and an opponent's creature with Rivals' Duel, your opponent will get the cards because the creature is the source of the damage. Bombo
Volcano Hellion works. Of course the Swans won't survive, but you still get to Bargain. No intervening if clause = do as much of the ability as you can.

Might as well read pay R discard another card then draw 5 cards.

Volcano Hellion works. Of course the Swans won't survive, but you still get to Bargain. No intervening if clause = do as much of the ability as you can.
The damage from Volcano Hellion can't be prevented.
You only draw cards equal to the damage prevented by Swans of Bryn Argoll's ability, which is none because no damage was prevented.
Therefore you draw 0 cards, AND it dies.
