If by that you mean got some rediculous weenies and a great (possibly insane) tribal strategy in addition to a one-sided crusade, while loosing wrath, thus making it an aggro only color (with some point removal used to gain tempo), then yes white "got some and lost a little".

Blue didn't move up or down a whole lot
But it did move down by loosing relavent bounce spells (boomerang, evacuation) and getting nothing to replace them, while red, green, and white got insane aggro creatures to smash blue's face, and black now has an insane amount of discard so that it can strip blue's hand of the 4-8 playable counterspells it will be packing now before corrupting and cosume spiriting them to death.

Just gonna put it out there, but Djinn of Wishes turn 5, turn 6 Ponder, Wish into Cruel Ultimatum seems kinda spicy.
I hope you have a good time trying to get that combo off before dying to aggro (also cruel has to be in the top 3 cards for this to work).

We need more of those WG, BR and other colored control decks and less reactive blue control decks, at least ones that are dominant in Standard. We've had enough of those in Standard and Extended to last a lifetime, it would be good to see other options explored.
On that same note: Perhaps it would be interesting if we had strong mono-blue aggro.
Ice cage seems like efficient blue removal. Could replace unsummon as a more permanent solution to creatures.

As much as I'm against the OTT view that this card is going to solo tournaments, cure cancer and make Susan Boyle attractive I'm not really a fan of the opposing camp who think it slaughters puppies and sired Justin Bieber.

Except if they pump it or use harm's way or use any non-kill spell that targets it, ice cage falls off. Even lightning bolt could be used to target the creature, take this example:
My opponent ice cages my putrid leech on his turn two. On my turn three I target it with my own bolt, the ice cage falls off, and I am able to pump the leech with his own ability and then attack my opponent for 4.
In short, I never will see myself having to use ice cage.

Seeing as blue doesn't seem to normally get good aggro creature I doubt this highly.
But I would love a chance for Blue to get a few aggro tricks for a change...
...well I can dream a little I suppose.
So lets disregard the entire color wheel and everything magic is based on and turn it into yugioh?
Please excuse me if I am not exactly jumping for joy at the suggestion of completely destroying the game.
I still don't see black "winning" big. O man it got duress...to replace seize (which is SO much better). And tendrils...oh wait no support for either an MBC or MBA deck? sorry tendrils.

Im all for that and I think most people would be but ask yourself this. If you take away blue's reactiveness, countering and playing most things at instant speed what kind of deck are you able to make with blue cards? Aggro certainly isnt an options as blue's creatures are almost all very small and not particularly aggressively costed, control is not really an option without relying heavily on instant speed disruption, milling is really only viable when back up by extreme amount of countermagic and stalling, and combo is usually a archetype that people can board against with a handful of cards.
More control decks would be fabulous but what would you do with blue cards if you do not have the countering and instant speed draw option available. When other colors were struggling there was at least something they could do in a deck if you wanted to go that way even though it may not be a great strategy

Every rarity gets good cards. That means that some mythic rares will be tournament quality as will some commons, some uncommons and some rares. My promise wasn't that mythic rares wouldn't get good cards but that we wouldn't limit the good cards to only being mythic rare.
Bear this in mind the next time a powerful mythic rare is spoiled

Don't you see that the whole aim of Moderators is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make infractions literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it. Every concept that can ever be needed, will be expressed by exactly one word, with its meaning rigidly defined and all its subsidiary meanings rubbed out and forgotten.
Okay there are some black cards but all the creatures are blue....
If by some black cards you mean BB, thoughtseize, agony warp...
BB by itself made the deck into what it is, pre morningtide fearies were easy to manage, while still being a decent deck because they didn't have a gay 2 mana enchantment that allowed them to laugh at wrath's face and block any creature at the cost of 1 life a turn. The tempo gained from it was stupid and unequaled.

Please excuse me if I am not exactly jumping for joy at the suggestion of completely destroying the game.
That was not even remotely what I was suggesting. I have played a fair amount of Yugioh, and from what I remember it turns into a free for all brawl that had very little to do with creature attributes or types.
I believe that Blue could merely use a few more combat related tricks that could pair along with the recent turn to a more creature based meta.
...as for ignoring the color pie what would Phantom Warrior" target="blank"> Phantom Warrior have to say about some form of blue aggro-like tricks. Along similar lines I also believe that unblockability would also booster the effects of combat related triggers as well such as many of the "ninja" effects or the more common Ophidian placed on so many blue creatures.
The only thing I was intending with my earlier statement is that if the game is being shifted to a more creature heavy environment than why can't blue as well?
M10 shows signs of this through the new blue lord Merfolk Sovereign which show cases a possible expansion of unblockabilty to a blue tribe. However unless we get more than 2 additional creatures I fail to see how a new lord will effect the format in ways "I" would like to see.
Gathered this is all my opinion, just like everyone else whom posts hear are stating.

I'd like to note that bounce spells have been massively nerfed with the new rules as well. Blue has been finally ruined in the base set.

I just hope they won't completely nerf the control archetype. I mean, even when I tried playing YuGiOh before I ended up playing a control deck (surprisingly they exist in YGO!).
Blue is really underpowered right now outside of Lor/Sha and people should think about this before saying Blue is still okay as a color. Take M10 in isolation and have a battle royale between all 5 colors and Blue will definitely be the first to fall. There just isn't anything there to entice new players to play the color. I know for a fact new players would be initially drawn towards playing aggressive strategies. I did when i started back in Ice Age-Visions-Mirage-Weatherlight with a B/R beatdown deck. Then I moved into Blue when I realized I wanted to be tricky and strategic because i saw those very aspects in Blue then which I do not see now. Sadly, in M10 new players will see these Blue cards and go "Meh, what is this color for?" That makes me a sad Panda.
I can't even go aggro with M10 Blue cards. Esper is obviously more viable but the deck only has presence in block. Bant decks are mostly GW and it seems like U is only tacked onto those cards so they could be said as being in Bant colors.

sigh. Fae doesn't remotely need BB. Sure, its the center of the deck in Standard because its awesome.
But, Extended. Fae doesn't even run bitterblossom. Why? Because Faeries are that good.

its not aggro control, but the only non-Fae creature run is Venser. Vendillion, Sower, Spellstutter are the core. Thats Fae.
All of them are wizards. The deck has Riptide Laboratory. Spellstutter is the only card that cares about faeries there. It's not really Fae.
Sure it has many flash creatures with citp abilities, but it is not about synergistic cards that almost consistently care about only one single creature type.
10th edition sucked for Blue too, and look what we got in Standard. The core sets have never helped blue since Counterspell got taken out.
But at least 8th and 9th had mana leak, rewind, boomerang, tidings and evacuation. And I beg to differ, if mana leak and rewind had not been in 8th and 9th (and there was nothing different in any of the block sets) then blue would have probably have been much worse of in standard during that time.

Mono-Blue aggro -has- been viable before. It just wasn't really considered due to it's being in TS period standard. And I don't mean strictly on an FNM level, a friend of mine played it at PTQ and missed top 8 by tie-breakers. I'm excited for what's happening to the meta, honestly, by going back to mono-colors. Also, I won't be playing blue, but R/G combo. But I'm still sad for what's happening here. Blue feels weak, comparatively, but even that is fine. The problem for blue, as i see it, especially for limited formats, is the rules change. Remember when Unsummon was not just tempo in limited, but a legitimate combat trick? Damage on, bounce my (name creature with a citp ability) So many of blue's little tricks were good due to damage on the stack (again, I'm pointing at limited) that it feels lacking without those tricks. And it is. In constructed, it's not blue, but control that's being hurt here. In limited, blue -is- hurt, but more by rules than cards. As far as M10 draft goes, give me Lightning Bolt commons and uncommon Serra Angel, I'll r/w for days.

I do not want to see the return of Draw-Go. I like balanced cards like Divination and Mind Control that a lot of other players say suck.

Fixed. Because these are used due to their interactivity with Riptide Laboratory. The deck is built to abuse Spellstutter Sprite and Vendillion Clique by using them recursively and creating a soft lock.
