How could a faeries player possibly deal with this? Seems awesome! Maybe this hints at the last few cards being epic counterspells... But anyway Stillmoon Cavalier was HUGE against faeiries, and this just seems like a better version in that matchup. What do you guys think?
I honestly thought Volcanic Fallout hosed faeries pretty well. I don't know if it will straight up hose faeries but I think it would deff make them think twice about the turn 2 blossom.

I don't have any hard numbers on this, but I'm targeted more often than a black guy driving a beat-up sedan with a broken tail-light and no license plate, and Cy's well aware of that.
As smokestak said, ignoring it would be enough (ignoring it and Cryptic Commanding it to win the race. The problem will be this + volcanic in RG quick decks.
Raking Canopy is an absolute joke of a hoser; there's a reason why no one plays that ****. Ask his cousin Imi Statue at how effective he was when printed specifically to hose Affinity.
Wizards has been trying to make cards to hose faeries ever since it became the undisputed dominant deck in standard. If Fallout, Scattershot Archer, Raking Canopy, Jund Charm, ect. didnt stop the deck, I wont see this stopping it. Honestly, all it does is smack them for 3 each turn. While this does alot to help race faeries, they still can tap it out with Cryptic and block with pumped Mutavault. Also, as iRebel said, the new Gargoyle land blocks it pretty damn well.
The fact that it can't be (Terror is out), Terminated, Pulsed, or Bit Blasted is pretty significant still. It passes the (Pyroclasm?), Jund Charm, Volcanic Fallout, Infest test, but fails the Lightning Bolt test so its pretty much unplayable in a format where there are no counterspells being played. Cryptic Command is rotating soon, so this card will not see any play except in Extended.

It doesn't die to most of the removal right now, but two spells (Path and Bolt), both of which have better targets and neither of which are likely to be in the same deck, and yet you say it's unplayable?
It is not a Faerie killer, simply because they should be less scared of it than Fallout. It is a quality creature for a color that is losing many quality creatures soon. And if we can't have Troll or Finks for our three drop, we might as well have this.

What kind of terrible logic is that? I know the guy above me called you out on this, but seriously, the argument that it survives every piece of removal except Bolt and Path is a great one for the card being playable. Wow. Just wow. Better let every creature in magic know it's unplayable in any format because of it dying to some form of removal.
He's meh sure it's a good card but the faeries player can outrace it via cryptic tapping it down and it will be raced with mistbind clique which seems to be bigger and on a side note: A GUY WITH 3 POWER DOESN"T PUT THEM ON A FAST CLOCK!!! I mean really a 3 power creature on it's own can win the game in what 7 swings? The card that provides a 7 turn clock on its own isn't that special. However people seem to ignore the fact that vexing shusher is in the meta and sure it dies to removal but that means they won't have removal for say spellbreaker behemoth.
Besides fae loses to 5cc which seems to be the best deck in the format right now if played correctly.

If this guy takes 7 hits to kill Fae then you already won that game. This guy needs to connect 5 times at worst in order to kill a Fae player.
dood, obviously this guy isn't going to single-handedly win the game vs fae. But it's yet another tool that we have to beat fae. Colossus is hard enough for fae to deal with, despite only being pro black. This new guy is 4x harder for them to deal with. Yeah he doesn't beat as well as colossus does, but you guys' arguments that fae can race is is flawed. Consider this in a R/G beatdown deck or to replace the 3-drops slot (finks/perfect) in the current B/G elf decks? It's not like the B/G matchup for fae was a breeze to begin with. Now throw in a creature that they can't deal with and I see a grim feature for the fae.
Honestly, decks are going to play other spells besides this new guy...

I'm pretty sure the only grim future the Fae will face is coming up in October, when no one will play them in Type 2 again.
i agree that this card is very strong and blah blah...
but a fea player won't even be buged with it
"he's not flying?"
ok so attack with all but 1 token. go
thats all
Sorry, but which non blue/black token is this?

Unplayable? Yeah I chose the wrong word. Its not as good as it could have been. Its not as good as people make it.
Would you rather Elf/Bird/Hierarch into this or ... Woolly? I choose the latter. Maybe its personal preference, but 3/3 for 3 that isn't evasive just isn't that good right now. Jenara, for example, doesn't see a lot of play and she is significantly better.

3/3 for 3 that isn't evasive, nor has an amazing ability that puts the game away.
A better 3 mana investment:
Dauntless Escort
Jenara, Azura of War
Woolly Thoctar
What is though is a Faeries/5cControl hozer that can really turn the tide, especially if you're in G/W Aggro and can get a Sledge on this guy. As someone else pointed out, 7 turns to kill someone is too many. Game will have changed completely by then.
And please don't dismiss the "Lightning Bolt Test" theory. Its a ratio of mana investment. You drop this guy, at your EoT I bolt it. You just wasted a turn and 3 mana to my 1 and no turn investment.
That doesn't mean every creature need have x/4 or better. It just means that the creature becomes a role player (sideboard material most likely, depending on the metagame), not an ass kicking machine.

5CC is tier 2 now and has never had a good match up vs Fae...
As far the card...I agree with what you've said. It lacks the fast clock that other anti controlish cards like Sulfuric Vortex had and can still be tapped down or countered by Cryptic Command.
Also doesn't help BG elves seems to have a good match up vs Fae in the first place.
The one that doesn't have haste? You know that token that just came into play during your upkeep?
Once ram-gang and finks rotate out I can see this guy be played marginally depending on his meta. I highly doubt a 3/3 for 3 creature is going to be the pinnacle of aggressive beats come Zendikar, so unless its abilities are actually relevant this guy could be either the next Stillmoon Cavalier (SBable material in the right meta) or the next Jitte welding Paladin-en Vec (mainboardable because of amazing counterspells and blue/blacks decks).

To be honest, it looked liked that guy where trying to claim that fae could just chump block it. Perhaps if you had been more blatent and suggested that that fae would just out race them it would be different.

You mean the one that is still a black token that cannot block a creature with protection from black?
Point aside, If any blue based or black based (or blue/black based) deck starts doing good in the meta, this guy will see some play, and sure, it would take 7 turns to win with it on its own, but with help from other cards, which every deck has, it will make the match ups easier.

It does seem that way which sucks. Nerfing the interactive spells and making the game of everyone only doing stuff on their turn isn't fun.
