So, what's the worst named card out of the new set?
I would definitely have to say Godtoucher. It just sounds a little perverse. Not nearly as bad as if it had been named, "Godstroker" or, "Godfeeler," but still. Given its damage prevention ability, they should've named it "Godwarder" or "Godshielder" or something like that.
Mosstodon is also lame, because it sounds like the sort of gag-me-cute punny name that would fit better in Pokemon.

I thought the exact same thing when i saw that card. I mean, if it can molest a god shouldnt it be a little more impressive in the stats department?

I think that that undefined would be the perfect power for the flying spaghetti monster.
Player A: "I hit you for an undefined amount of damage."
Player B: "I shock FSM."
Player A: "Does it do undefined damage?"
Player B: "No."
Player A: "Then it doesn't die. Take your damage *****!"
Player B: "How?"
I also nominate Drumhunter. I just can't help but imagine a bunch of Artifact Creature - Drums running around the jungle, and some half-naked dude chasing them with a spear.
Overall, though, I like the ALA names... much better than some of the excessive silliness we got out of LOR, like Caterwauling Boggart and Footbottom Feast.

Alara has a bunch of dreadfully generic cardnames, though Godtoucher is certainly hilarious yet awful.
Mossodon makes me smile.
What do I find bad... uh, lessee.
Well, okay, Godtoucher is the only card I find genuinely awful - most cards are either bland (Battlegrace Angel) or mediocre (Cathertic Adept). Certainly nothing like Lorwyn (Squeaking Pie Sneaks, Footbottom Feast, Hurly-Burly), or Shadowmoor (Kitchen Finks, Fable of Wolf and Owl, Gilder Bairn).
To be fair, Alara does have its share of decent names (like Excommunicate... that one is great), and Lor/Sha has its share (none I can think of right now lol) but.. yes.
I would have to say Druid of the Anima. Uhm, druid of the what??? lol (enema, in case no one catches it :p)
Erm, I'm going to have to go out on a limb and say that you are probably the only person on the entire planet that thought of that. Anima is a real word (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/anima) -- the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the name was the anima mages from Fire Emblem. That is pretty funny though.
My vote: Tortoise Formation. I keep thinking of the literal formation of a tortoise (as in, you are creating a tortoise), rather than a military formation like it's supposed to be. Even when I do remember, it still sounds kinda ridiculous -- though admittedly not half as bad as Squeaking Pie Grubfellows.
Resounding Silence. While resounding can mean something akin to complete and thorough, it more often than not means reverberating (echoing) or pertaining to a loud sound. I just think it's a horrible name.

I think the most boring card name is definitely "Plains."
Other than that, all the names seem fine to me.
Do you put them in a blender or something? I am inclined to believe that veins aren't made of liquid.

it's very old-school, for sure, like Control Magic or Counterspell.

That's fair...I can appreciate it in that light, but still...it just sounds so unimaginative.

Some times do that my self. Sad did not get any in a pack yet. She does look like an Anima character kind of.
Edit: Well as for a bad name for a card well not know one at the moment I could say, but most I seen have some ok names.
