Some of you may have been in shock since we invaded Canada and Mexico, but fear not, it was for a good cause. Now that we conrol North America, we produce an extra 5 armies a turn.^_^

yeah 5 card combos are really broken... if you can't tell, im being sarcastic
It's posts like this that make me wish there was a roflcopter animation available here. Instead of just rehashing why a TWO CARD, TWO MANA "I win the freaking game as a result of SBEs checking" combo is ridiculous, I'll just quote you the prevailing price of Flash, since obviously that card sucks because five card combos are balls:
Remember that with Lorwyn, they were going to break a fundamental rule. I think with the clues we got into FS and this little tidbit from TCG, it will be Planeswalkers. Also gatherer now references the planeswalker type. Why do it so early. If it isn't Planeswalkers, I will submit a video of me tearing up one of my moxes
Bitter Ordeal is the new card to float mana for after an Obliteration. By the turn you can actually play it, there will be many permanents out in play that will then fuel a Bitter Ordeal to take every last land out of an opponent's deck, along with anything that they might have as a mana-light threat.
A combo I saw used quite annoyingly against me was
2 gravescrabbler and skirk ridge exhumer (or any of the creature shapers really) and a sac outlet. keep discarding the scrabblers and playing them with their madness ability to retrieve the other one and create a swamr of tokens

From MaRo
Every rarity gets good cards. That means that some mythic rares will be tournament quality as will some commons, some uncommons and some rares. My promise wasn't that mythic rares wouldn't get good cards but that we wouldn't limit the good cards to only being mythic rare.
Bear this in mind the next time a powerful mythic rare is spoiled
Thanks to chaostheory90 for finding this quiz for me
no it doesn't, gravestorm reads: "for each permanent put into a graveyard this turn"...

A card is not a permanent unless it is in play, so the from play is implicit.
Yeah, I am actually surprised it doesn't say "from play". Anyway, you're right, a permanent is a card in play - a "permanent card" is a non-instant, non-sorcery card in your library. That's the difference between Bitter Ordeal and Vulturous Zombie.
A better combo is Smallpox + Bitter Ordeal, which can net a (grave)storm count of 4- 2 lands, 2 creatures, that + the original spell = five cards.
Hey wow! Play an instant from a graveyard for the bargain price of 6BBUU and a card! What's more, you can do it again for just 3BB! Yeah, you can stick another instant or 2 in there, but it really doesn't seem worth it to me. I have a Spellweaver Volute deck though, and it isn't really working, so I may actually give this a shot, since I was also going to try Moonlight Bargain and the two play fairly well together.

Than and then are very different words.
"I'm going to have more than Natalie Portman" is quite different from "I'm going to have more, then Natalie Portman".
i think your combo would work better with something that would give him trample than make him unblockable
the mantle of leadership is giving him +2/+2 for each 3/3 creature you put into play with him
if you give the nactl trample, then your opponent will block him with more of his creatures and let more of the tokens through to hit the opponent (and deal more damage)
if you give the nactl trample, then your opponent will block him with more of his creatures and let more of the tokens through to hit the opponent (and deal more damage)
Can't. Nacatl War-Pride "must be blocked by exactly one creature if able," as does each token. Put the Mantle an another of your creatures; it'll get through while the cats tie up all your opponent's blockers.
edit: better in Multiplayer beecause it can just kill everybody except for you...
Mass Hysteria - Emblem of the Warmind, Aggravated Assault - Breath of Fury. Gotta have some way to make sure the creature with Breath deals damage to your opponent, though.

Why did I ever think a signature in comic sans was a good idea?
At first I didn't think this worked, because I remembered "Cat Warriors" as a single creature type from way back. Not bad.
How 'bout, Tarox Bladewing + _____ (http://magiccards.info/uh/en/23.html)
It would work with any of the Grandeur guys, but Tarox is by far the most evil.
Just pay for each shapeshifter (it works in ANY zone, including hand), discard to Tarox, and stomp them in the ding-ding™.
Legal in 'Type Fun' only.

Cubing in Indianapolis...send me a PM!!
Throw in some Goblin War Drums for the alpha swing from nowhere
except that you only need The first two cards... the others just need to be in your deck... (so... yeah... take that...)
and I'm NOT being sarcastic.
Thanks to Le_Gambit at Aether's Sig Shop even you can look cool!

Go read the legacy threads talking about how stupid this combo is and how it might get flash errated or banned.
