#1 - What's the dumbest idea you ever had?
#2 - 15/15 for 15?
#1 - Make it dumber
#2 - Give it protection from removal and counter?
#1 - DUMBER!
#2 - Add Timewalk?
#1 - DAMN IT MAN, I SAID DUMB!! DUMB !!!
#2 - It destroys everything when it attacks.... And wait, I have a friend who plays mill decks... I want to beat him too.
#1 - Excellent! Recess is over, go back and learn sex-ed with the other 6th graders.
Right now, negation is the only option. The green pact is good, but I don't like the "green creature only" clause. Slaughter is also nice, but a dark banishing effect is a bit on the weak side. That said, people will soon realize how nasty most of the pacts can be, not just the blue one.

I vote Summoner's Pact because it plays as part of the new combo deck created by the most recent rewording of the oracle text on Flash, and I have found it to make the deck significantly more consistent
Should have placed the colors instead of their real names, oh well...
I really like the green pact, although I play control, first it is in a color that can accelerate mana very fast making the upkeep payment seem like nothing, but not only that, this card can search for any green creature in your deck, even though the clause "green" creature hurts it an awful lot, but a lot of the green creatures in the current standard are very useful it makes your deck like a toolbox, plus with Magus of the Vineyard paying for the lost mana in your upkeep it would make your deck even better.

Negation. But I think Slaughter in T2 is underrated. I think the Summoner's Pact has a home in Vintage and I've seen some folks around here discuss a deck it would fit in...
Ive said many times that I do not like pact of negation it has very limited usefullness outside of legacy/vintage since any blue based combo deck in standard runs gigadrowse which is considerably better because it stop split second disruption as well as guarantee that nothing else gets played when you want to combo out and if somehow something gets through that you werent expecting and stops your combo youre not obligated to all but tap out on your next turn.
As to the one I prefer none of the pacts are overly impressive and I find wizards went really conservative with them and took absolutely no chances with them but I voted for pact of the titan since a suprise blocker can be quite decisive and if htere is a way to give them haste combos nicely with djinn illuminatus. Its not that great but its the least useless

Every rarity gets good cards. That means that some mythic rares will be tournament quality as will some commons, some uncommons and some rares. My promise wasn't that mythic rares wouldn't get good cards but that we wouldn't limit the good cards to only being mythic rare.
Bear this in mind the next time a powerful mythic rare is spoiled
Thanks to chaostheory90 for finding this quiz for me
I think the order of pacts, from best to worst, is Negation, Titan, Slaughter, Summoner's, and Intervention. I can only really see the top 3 seeing any play, and maybe not with the Slaughter Pact.
I'm gonna vote for Pact of the Titan. Mostly because I saw a rules question on how abuseable it is, and that was neat. if I'm gonna go out, I'm gonna do it with a bang.
Also, I DO NOT see the greatness everbody sees in Negation. It's MAJORLY overrated IMO.

I like the Titan pact, personally. It's interaction with Illuminatus is really interesting and fun. They all have their own flare, with White's being the saddest of the 5.
Negation is best, but by how much depends on the format. In Standard, Titan is close. In Extended I'm not sure... Summoner's seems really strong, but Titan might still be better. In Legacy and Vintage it's FAR and away Negation, followed by Summoner's, and the rest are far weaker.
In limited, Slaughter Pact and Pact of the Titans are pretty close. (Edit: to each other... they're both better than the rest.)
Ok, I voted for the one with the least votes. Why? Because I honestly think its the best of the pacts.
Pact of Intervention: A good card, but it wont see very much play... it just doesn't do enough to be widely used.
Pact of Negation: Ok, this card is very narrow. Its amazing, I agree, but it wont see play in A LOT of decks people are trying to use it in. Combo is where its home will be, not control, not tempo based decks, Combo. This makes it narrow enough to not be the best of the pacts. Its amazing, but the uses it has makes it more narrow than I would like.
Pact of the Titan: This card is ridiculous, and its abuse in certain combo decks is nuts. I don't think its the best pact though, simply because of how easy it is to deal with.
Summoners Pact - Free tutor, amazing. Only green creatures? Not so much... I guess in Aluren its good because its like, go get something amazing, otherwise I don't see the card being ba-roken... not yet at least.
And Slaughter Pact: A free spell that can destroy anything instant speed, if you tap out or not. This card is amazing. How simple is it to just eot kill something they just brought out. Its easier to walk them into this card than anything else. So far I've seen it used so brutally well that I picked up as many as I could because I think this is going to be the second most valuable pact (lets face it, no matter what happens there isn't going to be any competing with Pact of Negation)
I know I'll probably get flamed out of my entire existence for thinking that, but I'm pretty sure my reasoning, whether I explained it at all or not, its what I believe to be true.
OK, I really like Pact of Negation, but Slaughter Pact & Intervention Pact...I see a really powerful WB deck coming on.

I think Negation Pact is the strongest. It will probably only be used in powerful combo decks, and maybe as a one-of in a Mystical Teachings deck (being able to fetch a counter with only 4 mana open could save you).
Negation certainly is the best... It's hard to use it with correct timing with payoff however from personal playtesting experience. I just don't like it as much as I honestly should... (if only for the 3UU hampering me severely the next turn in more than one game)... It's a God-send for combo tho and for that reason alone its the best.
Summoner's has possibly the BROADEST stroke of use however. Sure it says you can fetch only a green creature but that also means you can grab any gold creature that's in green as well. The problem is there isn't any versatility in the Summoner's Pact as most of the good fetchable green creatures are just fatties in one form or another. When there's a utility or combo creature out there to fetch I can see this getting use then...
