The Queen and Overlord do nothing for other Slivers. Thanks UrzaPlaneswalker for the green uncommon, Mighty, hadn't seen that.
So, though you're going to be taking 50 or so damage on the upkeep (and gain that back in life from Essence Sliver, thanks erimir), you can win since with the Queen out, you can pop out hasty guys that make a mana and then die to make another guy. Heart + Gemhide + Basal + Queen=4 Sliver infinite combo. Add Acidic for direct damage, Victual for life, Mnemonic for cards, Mindwhip to nuke their hand, or you can just attack with infinite guys. Anyway, the ultimate sliver on the attack can only be blocked by two slivers, any blocking gives the attacker +1/+1 per blocker and each defender -1/-1, the blockers are killed with no regeneration after first strike damage giving the attacker a further +1/+1, although they are both going to die from the Toxin Sliver. That damage and any that gets through gives you life, a card, and another sliver token.
You won't die during your upkeep unless someone kills the Essence Sliver, actually
Each Sliver will trigger separately and deal 1 damage to you. After each one deals damage to you, Essence Sliver's ability will trigger, and you'll gain 1 life. So overall, your life total will stay the same.
Also, according to the checklist, there's a Bonesplitter Sliver, which given the Watcher Sliver's ability, and the card Bonesplitter, will probably give all slivers +2/+0
The other red sliver is Two-Headed Sliver... the ability could be related to Two-Headed Giant... or it could be doublestrike. Dunno.
Psionic Sliver (one of the blue ones) could be based on Psionic Gift, which would make your slivers pingers... which would be kinda broken.
Thanks for the other sliver speculation, I wondered if there was supposed to be a +2/+0 sliver. That must cost a bunch.
The 4-Sliver infinite combo is playable turn 4 at least, figuring turn 2 Gemhide or Barbed, turn 3 the other one and Basal, turn 4 Queen and activate. If you're on the play, that's pretty fast, just a bit tough to assemble needing those 4 and 3 lands in 10 cards. Birds make it a touch faster, and it seems green/blue would be fine for Remands or Mana Leaks to protect your development. You can pretty much take beats without much worry. Of course, it's not legal in Standard or Extended, and is pretty doubtful in Legacy, but hey.
i think they found the real info for dementia sliver...and made it more balanced
it should read
:symtap:: Name a card. Target player reveals a card at RANDOM from his or her hand and discards the card if it has the same name as the named card. You may play this ability only during your turn. (Dementia)
otherwise dementia sliver is too broken with two or more slivers out
edit: i can not find the thread where it said this...so it might have been faulty information that got deleted
Ok, added the Mighty Sliver, that should be it. I guess I forgot to include Venser's Sliver, but it does nothing. I don't know anything about Mighty Sliver other than what is posted here.
Dementia still doesn't seem that ridiculous, sorry I was confused with the previous wording and the newer one...once you have out your 5 cast guy, you can start tapping slivers to make them discard. Effective against beatdown I guess, but anything with burn, counters, or spot removal ought to be able to use it. One card revealed at random would be reasonable, though. I'll change it if the spoiler wording changes.
Ok, added the Mighty Sliver, that should be it. I guess I forgot to include Venser's Sliver, but it does nothing. Dementia doesn't seem that broken...losing two slivers to get maybe two or three cards from their hand is not that bad. How often is the opponent going to be holding multiples of a card you didn't guess on the first shot? If it is only one card revealed at random, it's not anywhere near worth 5 for a 3/3.
Dementia Sliver is a tap ability not sacrifice
---
Can I get a concrete wording on the Might Sliver (including base p/t and casting cost) please? Neither MTGS or magiccorp spoilers have it up but people seem to know what it is.
In that four sliver infinite mana combo, did you mean Heart instead of Barbed? Seems like Haste would be infinitely more useful than "2: +1/+0" when trying to tap them for mana.

Metallic Sliver. 1. Artifact Creature - Sliver. 8/8.
Flash, flying, haste, trample, provoke, first strike, double strike, shadow, flanking, protection from the chosen color.
Metallic Sliver can't be countered, can't be the targets of spells or abilities, and can't be blocked except by two or more Slivers.

Quote from Aaron Forsythe on Guildpact: Twenty Questions »
When Guildpact was handed over from design, it also had seven gold rares per guild,... and that the seventh gold rare in each guild was less important to the set than the Nephilim. So each guild is down a rare in this set.
Gruul, Izzet and Orzhov. Officially screwed by WOTC.
Yeah, some of the slivers definitely don't get along, or are kind of pointless to have together. Armored and Barbed are quite a combo with Spectral. "Nah, sorry, I don't need the extra point of power here, just pumping toughness, thanks."
What lock are you talking about, trekdrop? You can one extra guy in the next combat phase each time you get through with a sliver?
I also decided that the most amusing way to kill with the 4 Sliver combo is to drop Psionic Sliver, allowing you to make a bunch of extra tokens that kill themselves to do direct damage to the opponent.
Just noted for limited that Vampiric Sliver combos pretty well with Psionic and Quilled Sliver, since it doesn't have to be combat damage.
acording to gatherer...dementia sliver is wrong in the first post and in woapalanne's post too
here is the updated wording
:symtap:: name a card. target opponent reveals a card at random from his or her hand. if it's the named card, that player discards it. play this ability only during your turn (Dementia)
Pulmonic Sliver kills Wrath of God. Since all the slivers would go to the graveyard, instead they'd go back on top of the library, while the caster of *** would lose all of their creatures, providing of course that they are not slivers.
Instead of Gemhide, I came up with the same combo with Psionic Sliver.
Youe make 1 token, use the haste to Tap and shock something, and with the ability on the stack, sacrifice the token for 2 mana and mak another token. Repeat until your opponent's entire board is wiped and your opponent dead.
I can create you a darksteel sliver that could get printed
Darksteel sliver 10
Artifact creature - sliver
Affinity for slivers
All slivers are indestructible "It all went well, until slivers found the darksteel forge...."
5/5

Could someone please explain what happens when a player attacks with a Metallic Sliver while a Two-headed Sliver and a Fury Sliver are on the board? In order to survive, the defending player would need 4 blocking cratures, correct? And how would the first strike damage work?
