Card advantage + good bodies + combat hell sounds like a limited bomb. Just need a single evasive creature to neutralize one creature and draw one card per turn. If your creature can get through by itself, that is two extra cards per turn.
This is kind of neat design. The abilities are more of a traditional control walker, but with creature attacks being valued it encourages some more deck choices. Probably a good thing it's not in standard with Brazen Borrower though. That seems like it would get real annoying real fast.
Drawing 2 cards a turn in UB and UBx control never got so easy (In Standard), and so annoying. Not looking forward to playing against this. Won't quite be a Wandering Emperor level walker in Standard, but this card is going to see a lot of play and be overpriced in paper and digital unfortunately.

Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
My bets are that Nahiri will be a key team member in manipulating hedrons to imprison the enemy walkers and redirecting Emrakul and possibly new Eldrazi to New Phyrexia.
She would also have to forcefully work with Sorin and make truces.
I guess the good thing about this is that they're appearing to unfold the climax/ending of this (part of the) arc the proper way rather than a forced affair a la War of the Spark/Forsaken.
I'd totally be down for an Eldrazi/Phyrexian finish to this. A lot like Predator vs. Alien for those who are older than 30. All I want to know is...
Where does Kasmina and Rowan fit in all of this if at all?

For Kasmina I’m still on the conspiracy theory that what her little cabal is basically a 9 titans situation and to fight the phyrexians (she mentions there’s a fight even bigger than war of the spark. Conspiracy is that’s new phyrexia invading planes.)
Neat passive ability. I'm waiting for the third iteration of Kaito to have "planeswalker ninjitsu" - like he can be put into play at reduced cost and activate one of his ability at instant speed (wandering emperor style) if you return an unblocked attacker to your hand.
Anyway, this card seems quite good, a bomb for limited at least. If all the rare walkers are this power level, limited may get a little annoying.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if they tried that in design for this exact card.
Seems really solid. The +1 and -2 aren't the best value, but they both do work to protect him and set up the triggered ability. The 0 is good value, but leaves him pretty vulnerable. I think a good comparison is Sorin the Mirthless, which has a little more power up front, but a little less flexibility and potential synergy.

new kaito at rare so he is safe
Anyone know what the Phyrexian text says?
I guess "tap and stun" would have been too good with the passive? (I'd argue it'd be nice synergy but whatever.)
kaito was on my safe card
Same, so far I got 4 out of 4 right. Only 5 more to go.
It's literally "All will be one." Like with letter by letter substitution, instead of going by phonemes, as they did in earlier times.

"Tap and stun" would've been too similar to Tamiyo, the moon sage.
Besides, other blue cards can also prevent attacking for a turn (propaganda)
Interestingly, and quite surprisingly, we also just got a reprint of a green card which can prevent attacking for a turn (Arboria)

Colour pie standards are more lax in reprint sets aimed at older formats.
