To the masses of the Imperium world of Vigilus, he's a revolutionary in a world beset by invaders and their own oppressive government. To the Genestealers, he's a front like the other Kelermorphs, a charismatic way to start an uprising to preclude the Tyranid invasion. To us, he's one of the many legends in these precons who don't necessarily mesh with the general deck's strategy and are meant to be flavor home runs that can lead their own deck (here's it's pinger tribal or something).
Please, mill me. Mill my important cards. Mill my lands. Mill it all. Because I will still deal 20 damage before you can mill 45 cards most every time.
I'll probably stick to Torbran, Thane of Red Fell for this kind of spellslinger deck, but if you wanted to do it in Izzet, this wouldn't be a bad route.

There ARE a surprising amount of good 1-damage pingers in the izzet identity, and the deck definitely has some potential, but I still feel like Torbran is a bit more explosive.

Wouldn’t mind testing them side by side!
Not so great side by side unless your damage sources are nonred. Torbran will stop red pingers from being exactly 1 damage.

I meant more along the lines of testing the Torbran deck vs This Guy's deck to see which is more efficient at burning the table out.
