It's even better than Cursecatcher's ability. This can counter any noncreature, Cursecatcher is only instant or sorcery. It's more Negate; less Disrupt (albeit without the cantrip).
Now I am just hoping for a good 2 mana Zombie Lord in Black. I get a sinking feeling that we are going to see a Phyrexian lord though.

I kind of hope so purely for the fact that so far in a set that marks the "invasion" of Dominaria there are few phyrexians and nothing to tie the tribe together, at all. Just random junk.

With this many Phyrexian sleeper agents in the story...
...note how Stenn and later Ajani would rather go against overt Phyrexians even while they're sleeper agents, and in Ajani's case, it's not a "would" but a did...
...a Phyrexian lord makes deceptively little flavour sense. (Admittedly, pretty much every Phyrexian creature card revealed so far has stopped being or never was a "sleeper", so to speak.)
