This feels like it will be the first card in the set to get banned, possibly in multiple formats.
Maaaaybe in Pioneer? I'm actually having a tough time breaking this guy in Modern because it refuses to flip Empty the Warrens for profit. Legacy Goblins honestly needs all the power it can get, as it's kinda slow for an aggro deck unless it slams Muxus, Goblin Grandee on Turn 2.
I don't think Standard will be able to support a Goblin deck until a couple more sets, but this guy could be YUGE in Pioneer, T2 this guy T3 Goblin Warchief or Goblin Chieftain or Goblin Rabblemaster or even the new Squee would be a good one-two combo, then if you untap it's probably going to be a win for you.
Archghoul of Thraben, but cheaper, for a better tribe, and also a lord. I guess it's also smaller and just impulse draw, but still...
Of course in Standard this is going to rely almost entirely on goblins from DMU for a while. Fable of the Mirror-Breaker is about all goblins have from the last 4 sets.
I will be rocking this in Standard Gobbos. Would have liked if it was a 1/2 instead but hey a mono colored lord for 2 cmc, sign me up.
