Oh wow, I really love this land! Amzaing utility in Commander, and with a name that can easily be reprinted in Theros someday Although I will say, I already love this art even if it isn't reprinted with Theros art Definitely picking this up

in fact I’m happy the name of the card is simple enough to be used on quite a bit of planes
because not just theros because lots of planes could have statues of their heroes
infact The eldraine revist could reprint it with knight statues (let’s just hope gavin and other mtg staff knows to reprint this quite a bitj

It's definitely going to be such a commander staple that I bet we will get multiple thematic versions
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
I don't see the hype for this. If you have a high cmc commander you've got a colorless land and it only becomes a Command Tower after you've cast it. Sure, if your deck has a ton of legendaries this will work sooner, but not every single deck is flooded with them. This seems okay though, I think I'll stick to Tyrite Sanctum for assisting my commander.

Yes, and again if you don't have a lot of them in your deck then it's mostly a colorless land. Not every commander deck is filled to the brim with legendaries.
But isn't the point that you use this to cast your commander? Even if the commander is 5-color, this land will be able to give you the color you're otherwise missing. And if your commander is a single color... Color identity implies the rest of your deck is that single color as well. And once you've played your commander, this will always provide all colors in your commander's color identity. The third mana ability can be used to cast everything, after all.
I like to play Legendary tribal decks in Pioneer and this is perfect for those.

Yes, I wasn't saying this is bad, but that it isn't the second Command Tower some are hyping this up to be. If your deck has a lot of legendaries then this will help greatly, but this is not an auto include in every commander deck like Tower is (and before anyone says it I know Tower isn't good in mono color.)
I wouldn't put this in mono or two color commander decks as Tyrite Sanctum feels better, even though it only creates colorless mana, as it has an effect you can use excess mana on to better your board state, a similar protection effect, and you can get it back far more easily to reuse it.
though I will say for morophon it’s fairly safe to use the land if your tribe is spirits because of kamigawa (vast majority of your creatures will be legendary)
Decent, but certainly not necessary, as evidenced by the fact that many decks already perform well or "go off" very early without ever having needed such a land for consistency. Either way, it's a welcome addition to commander and brawl. My only curiosity is...Will this also have an alternate stained-glass art, or is this likely just going to be available as an extended borderless variant?
EDIT: Upon further consideration, this card is good, too good not to get copies of for Commander. In fact, dare I say it's better than mox amber. I'm just annoyed that Kethis, the Hidden Hand is banned in Pioneer

Sure, but your commander will die at some point, and that third ability has to rely on another legendary. Or heaven forbid you want to cast something else that takes colored mana before you have a legend out - then you're out of luck with this card.
This is definitely good and I would play it in a lot of decks, but I don't think it is an auto-include or a card I'll feel particularly bad about not owning for each of my decks. I do like that (1) it is probably useless outside of commander so may not have the high price/attention that some of the new cards get, and (2) the generic nature of the name means it could get inserted into other planes or theme commander sets easily too.

Obligatory set theme land, now actually playable. There's an argument for this being a Commander auto-include.

the second ability is gonna be used for casting the commander
The third one is while your commander is out for every other spell (and a few other legends that has most the colors)

In Modern, shame that Tameshi, Reality Architect generally gets killed on the spot. But hey, I guess there are other combo engines and powerful legends like Urza, Lord High Artificer, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Omnath, Locus of Creation, Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger....

It’s essentially Command Tower #2 with a bonus protection ability!

So if you're running a mono-color but 5-color identity commander like General Tazri or Tazri, Beacon of Unity (or, even worse,Morophon, the Boundless...), this land is not going to help you much just via your commander.
oh absolutely that’s probably the only con
