first Off I notice most of you don't notice this the set symbol is Basicly a reboot of the invasion block symbol (also can be seen on Coalition Relic and Coalition Flag and this set was just when a stampede (hundreds) of phyrexians raided dominaria)
You seem to think that Coalition Relic et al are references to the Invasion set symbol, when in fact the opposite is true. The Coalition that fought against the Phyrexian Invasion used that symbol, and so they used it as the set symbol for Invasion.
So 90 minutes pass since the thread is created and only one person mentions the set symbol, so you conclude that no one noticed that the set symbol looks like the Invasion set symbol? That's literally the first thing that's noticeable about it.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
I don't know anything about warhammer 40k. Just want to mention, that the color distribution is all over the place. 3 of the Decks have black or blue, red has 2, white and green just 1. And both are in 3 colored deck... They mentioned that the decks will have a lot of reprints. I am not sure if at least the new cards will have some kind of colored balance what seems to be impossible with a mono black one (unless the 3 colored deck with black has non new black cards).
Seeing Aminatou surprised me a little. She is not specially expensive. If I am right all cards from double master should be reprints. Well there were some cheaper reprints in such products. So I guess it is okay.
Dominaria... Looks good. I am glad to see Ajani again. Dominaria will be important storywise this time. So more Phyrexians I guess.

I'd say it's so easy to notice that it's really not worth talking about. Like noticing the green mana symbol is a tree.

Seconded. It's kinda expected since the Coalition already was "Dominaria United". Also the Dominaria set symbol was a shield evocative of it not by chance, I'd guess.
If the set symbol of an upcoming set contains a subtle Phi on the other hand, that would be worse mentioning - unless its name already gives away more.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

The only reason they would have Aminatou, the Fateshifter featured afterFarewell would be if they were counter-marching an eight-year old to her death .

Have Draft Booster packs always said "Contains 16 cards"?
Is this just a change in wording as there were always 16 with the add card/token or are they actually putting in one extra?

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.

Tyranid as temur makes little sense to me, i think sultai or even abzan fit better.
Other choices are good, can't wait to see the cards

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

This is why they said they didn't just do a Warhammer 40k set like LotR is going a set, the setting itself is just too imbalanced to do a full set, but colour balance isn't as important in Commander Decks.

MaRo explicitly stated in his blog that they're doing Commander decks and not an entire set of Warhammer exactly because Warhammer lore is not made with color pie in mind, so it's much easier to do a series of color imbalanced commander decks than an entire set to draft.

I can see the like, Simic Bioengineered side of it, with mutations and synapses, as well as a Gruul side to it, like big scary monsters and brutal attacks. Together that makes sense to me at least. I would have expected more of a Sultai deck though as well.
Well, Blood for the Blood God! checked off my biggest desire from the 40K set. All they can **** up now is not printing The Golden Throne as a multicolored artifact. The Necron face commander is certainly Szarekh, the Silent King but I'm also hoping for a Trayzn card.
Whale Bait is the set I'm least excited for this year, it will make tons of money, but still be as exiting as a dry fart, no new cards and no new story, just high value reprints. Snooze.
Dominaria isn't my favourite setting, but at least there is a story and new cards and characters with it amd the start lf a new story arc.
I'm mostly interested in how the Warhammer Decks do because I'm interested in the rumours that this is a test before WotC buys Games Workshop. I do know enough to hope C'tan is in the Necron deck and maybe some Demon Gods in the Chaos decks.
Honestly the by far most interesting part of this announcement is learning that Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate is 250+ cards and realizing that the AH: BG art is a Tiefling Arcane Archer and likely an Arena exclusive card.
But it still doesn't make sense that Braids would be compleated in modern Dominaria/Dominaria United, which is way after Odyssey block, right?. That does look a lot like her, but I don't know how she could survive this long to get compleated by new Phyrexia, and we didn't see any of her in Dominaria despite lots of other Odyssey block remnants or descendants making an appearance. (I also wouldn't draw too much from the collector booster box art, these tend to be far afield of how the cards look in their regular canonical art.)

They really aren't human any more.
Or New Capena's symbol is brass knuckles.

Set boosters say "Contains 12 cards", but there are 14 if you count the art card and token.
-Irini Sengir
Draft boosters have 15 cards normally,
Other choices are good, can't wait to see the cards
Previous packaging (Draft Boosters) has always stated "Contains 15 cards" to the best of my recollection.
Edit: A quick guess, with 2 rares in each the extra card would be a 2nd rare. Makes sense I suppose.

Yeah hehe, life consuming bio mass eating galaxy destroyers doesn't seem very temur to me lol
The first double masters only listed 15 cards on draft booster packs, so they might be including the token now.
Yawgmoth is defeated in 4205 and Odyssey block starts roughly 100 years later.

You ninja'd me
Because they're being big mad children and if they can't like it, neither can we!
