I really hope that Hadouken isn't real. When has a renamed card ever NOT referred to itself as the original name?
There's always a first time in the life I suppose. Also, why so shocked? Wizard change and tweak their own rules like literally all the time, and this is not certainly the worst one. Also I totally support this idea, I will even say they literally stealed from me, since that's exactly what I do when I print as proxy a reskinned version of a different ID of a Magic card I own lol.
Good news a most flavorful non lightning art for lightning bolt I have ever seen. (Thought it could have just been fireball)
Huh, new template. The card uses the Godzilla treatment name in the card text instead of the real card name. Wonder if this is just a one-off, SL-only, or the plan moving forward.
They did this with Secret Lair: Arcane where about half of the cards were "Godzilla treatment" and half retained their original names. I don't know if any of them had the different name reference though. After looking at the Spore Frog "Gromp" I discovered that the card says: "Sacrifice Spore Frog..." So unless they decided to change the rules regarding this Universes Beyond Treatment, then Hadoken is sus.
Seize the Day - "Round Two"
Krosan Grip - "Denting Blows"
Rhystic Study - "Unstable Harmonics"
Thran Dynamo - "The Hexcore"
Spore Frog - "Gromp"
(From the Arcane Lands bundle)
Command Tower - "Summoner's Rift"

Edit: there's a clean image up on Scryfall that contains an artist credit so I guess this is legit, even though I wished it was another Legend.
Wow that was boneheaded of me. Hit "Quote" instead of "Edit."
this card will be extremely rare and expensive in my opinion... i'm tempting to purchase the lair only for this card.... all the rest of street fighter cards are .. to me instead.

Bold of you to assume that I'm shocked by this
I'm just going to be disappointed if they used their bonus card slot to give us another version of a card that already has like 20 printings.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Assuming (and there's no reason not to) that there's a copy in every SL, they probably won't be terribly expensive. Hell, you can get a playset of everything for $160.00 if you just get four copies of the Lair.

are you sure it's in every secret lair?
Is there a Lucille in every Walking Dead Secret Lair?

They're both around $30.

Is there a Hawkins National Laboratory in every Stranger Things Secret Lair?
I see no compelling reason why this would be any different.
you are perfectly right but... is there an article wich confirm this? Do you have a link? I read that only the streetfighter one have the hadooken
