So a new commander who breaks most every spell that has an x value determined by number of targets or has a high base generic mana cost but lots of targets in Jeskai colors...interesting?
So would this work with cards like Zada, Hedron Grinder or Feather, the Redeemed? Do the additional copies reduce the cost of the first one spent? How about Spitting Image, does it cost 1 less each time it is retraced? Or does this really only work with single spells that can have multiple targets, like Fireball and the like?

The copies will not reduce any costs and Retrace will not continue to reduce the cost, it will only be reduced by one.

Between X-spells and cards with high mana costs, there are a lot of options out there to keep costs down to the colored pips. Where can you go with this?
