That probably makes a new Tamiyo card quite unlikely sadly, unless they print four planeswalkers this time around. Would have preferred her getting one instead of Tezzeret. Oh well, at least her son gets a card. Tezzeret's name seems to underline that he is fully in league with the Phyrexians by now. And yeah, they will likely continue to not give us a planeswalker type for the wandering emperor.
According to Mark Rosewater (MaRo), The Wanderer is supposed to represent us, "the player" in the MTG lore but I don't buy it.

The wanderer is literally the emperor. It's been outright stated by tamiyo in episode 3. She's nameless by tradition, but she's an important character, not a player proxy.

That is a weird thing for him to say, unless the card is Timmy, Johnny, or Spike there is no reason to believe a character they have named is the player.

Well its just a gimmick of the card not having a planeswalker name type.
So as it doesnt have a specific "identity" , he just said it could be anyone, as the player is supposed to be a planeswalker themselves casting spells in a battle against another planeswalker.
Just like Blind Seer is actually Urza, but its not spelled out on the card , unlike Professor Onyx which does spell it out on the card type (which is a bit lame).
I haven't read through the stories yet, but it seems pretty weird that we won't know the Wanderer's name despite her being the childhood friend of the story's protagonist...

I figured that was more to hide the character's identity more than a "that's you" representation kind of thing.
Dontrike is right, it was a mix of "hide the character's identity" and her gimmick being the only walker without a planeswalker type.
Not sure what Card Slinger J even means, I recall Maro saying how (like Kasmina and Dav) they where needing characters for war of the spark so they pulled in the wanderer from a future storyline.

They talked for nearly an hour before Kaito realized he was late for a lesson. And when he asked what the girl's name was, she didn't tell him. It was forbidden for the emperor to reveal her name, even to those closest to her. But she told him he was welcome to come back and see her the next time he needed somewhere to hide.

I agree that Tamiyo is looking less likely, but it's a bit confusing to me. She seems far more central to the story than some other PWs in recent sets. She's also, AFAIK, the Kamigawa card (in terms of plane, not set/block) with the highest popularity, so it seems very odd that she would not get a card.
I think Tamiyo as a 4th PW being UG is fairly possible, as the likelihood that the Wanderer has Green is, IMO, kind of a stretch. Beyond that, though, the major issue is that Kaito and Tezzeret completely overlap in colors. Without a color expansion on Tezzeret, we are looking at UB PWs, a White PW (maybe WR), but nothing Green, and perhaps nothing Red.
My wild theory is that Tezzeret's card may be a Legendary Creature, not a PW. He may have lost his Spark, though we know that that's not supposed to happen with Phyrexians. Maybe the Bridge is feeding off of it?
The last possibility is that Tamiyo may be a PW on the back of a Saga, which would be fitting considering her Magic.
Of planeswalkers in standard (where we know they try to color balance them), blue is currently the least represented with 5 planeswalkers while black and red are tied for most with 7. Since we know of one Dimir planeswalker already, I'd guess either Tezzeret is not a walker as suggested above or he is mono-blue.
I was actually seeing Tezzeret as more likely to be Grixis than mono-blue given his recurring inability to keep his emotions in check and his general lack of self-chastising about his emotions.
We currently have two sets in Standard with four planeswalkers on it, with the fourth one hidingbehind alegendarycreature. Assuming we have Tamiyo, Tezzeret, and the Wanderer with Kaito in the card set, and one of them is the back face of a double-faced card, who or what would that front face be? Tamiyo is either her pre-spark self or a Saga.

I agree that Tezzeret being red might be more likely given his motivations. OTOH, the set's themes seem to play up tension between tradition and progress (very fitting), and Tezzeret is clearly on the side of progress, while red is likely a more traditional color in the set.
It's also possible, given who his associates are now, that he's full Esper.

Right now, what we know is that some (maybe all) of the DFC in Kamigawa are Sagas on the front end with legendary cards on the back. If that's true, all of them are possibilities, given the information we have.
Tamiyo being on the back side of a Saga makes a LOT of sense, given that her magic is about storytelling.
The Wanderer being on the back side of a Saga makes sense, because the entire story is about how she's finally returned.
Finally, Tezzeret's connection to Nashi and what happened in the past makes it make sense that he could be the end of a Saga card.

Yeah, you shouldn't buy that because that got stated on this Blogatog post, which if you look carefully, was posted on April Fool's Day. All of his responses that day were jokes.

and finally: The Wandering Emperor
which means we probably won't know her name. I bet she still will be "Legendary Planeswalker"

She's not allowed to give out her name (So she can keep her gimmick of having no planeswalker type.);

Love using this trick on non-English previews to get the English card name.
