It's honestly impressive that they managed to limit it so much just by carefully layering "from your hand" and "if it's attacking," even if the wording is a bit clunky and lengthy as a result. Otherwise, this thing would be crazy breakable.
This is incredible. It replaces Changeling Outcast in legacy. It pitches to Force of Will (something outcast does not) it does the same job with flying. It can BLOCK. It doesn't become a 4/4 late game with Retrofitter, but... I think it's worth it. You play this turn 1, and it bounces back turn 2, and leads you into decent plays turn 4. It enables your plan, while also being easier on your mana and a win condition (T4) or late game depending on the board.
Edit: Also it feels less bad when you take a hand with brainstorm/ponder (and no black source) because you can at least play this T2 with an island only hand.
Edit Edit: My fear that this card will be 10$+ is increasing.
Thats the first in history of ninjutsu that the cost is higher than the cards cmc
but its that for a reason i think getting a permanent clone of a attacking creatures is worth it
