Was a matter of time we received Kaya on Innistrad as a ghost killer - I'd prefer her to get the vamps though, personally. Geists are pretty neat. Thus far she's conversed with them really <3
Card is very powerful. Not feeling the art. Does she have alt arts?
I guess we gotta thank goodness that this Kaya protects herself poorly, if at all, because that ult of hers looks absolutely lethal. You can easily take out 15 or more cards from graveyards with that ult!
Uhh... okay? Definitely a good card but not sure what it's trying to do in this set. I mean, Dramatic Finale still exists and curves with this, which would be interesting to build around... if Orzhov had a Raise the Alarm in Standard or, hell, any critical mass of go-wide token generators. Sadly, the best token generators in Orzhov for Standard are probably Clarion Spirit (which is a bit of a nonbo since curving Clarion into Kaya makes it so neither card does anything) and Hunt for Specimens (which is fine but extremely unexciting if you're not deep on sacrifice synergies).
We also have Join the Dance, which also curves into Kaya and makes it so that you can plus her for some value on Turn 3, but this forces you into Abzan. The problem is, the Standard mana base simply can't support any aggressive three-color deck, so you're also forced into Midrange, which I'm not sure is a good home for Kaya since her plus says "attack with me or get a bad three mana Luminarch Aspirant".
As-is, I think she has a better shot of seeing play outside Standard. Historic could have some fun with her since they have Raise the Alarm, Intangible Virtue, Battle Screech, Legion's Landing and Serra the Benevolent. Hell, even Modern seems more suited for her, since they have all of the above plus Lingering Souls and Bitterblossom. She also seems fun in Commander, even if as a one-shot Anointed Procession that sticks around and makes blocking a nightmare. As I said, good card, but I have no idea what she's trying to accomplish in this set or even in this current format.

Well, the art is neat (aside from her weird facial expression) and she could be useful, but eh...even as a person who likes tokens, I'm not feeling it. You know, maybe they shouldn't put 2 out of 3 planeswalkers in a set at MV 3, because this set has one of the least flashy selections of planeswalkers I've seen recently. In fact, combined with Midnight Hunt's trio, those two sets back-to-back might have the least flashy planeswalkers I've seen ever in two sets in a row. This is one of the reasons I wanted core sets to stay....
I mean, I'll still play her if she's cheap enough to pick up, but I can only think of one deck that I have where she would outright complement the theme rather than being just generically okay. They had just better not do Tamiyo a disservice with her presumed card in Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. In fact, can we just skip to Kamigawa previews right now?
I'm just excited to have another Anointed Procession without having to dip into green.
In Standard I will be happy to try out her -2 with Shambling Ghast/Deadly Dispute. You'll get 4 treasures out it, instead of two. Then I have have an Eyetwitch or something laying around, I can sac it to a Dreadfeast Demon, and get two Demon tokens. Talk about jank heaven!
I just notice Kaya has a small orzovh signet on her jacket.

“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
3-cost Planeswalkers that are not poop tend to be a problem, especially for standard but it seems to be the sweet spot for eternal playability.
This gets said every 3 mana planeswalker, yet there have been loads that have seen no play over the last few years, people are just scarred by Oko, but in reality that was just an Oko problem, not a 3 mana planeswalker problem.
This is going to be expensive because of EDH, but feels really bad in Constructed to me. It literally doesn't do anything without something else, so it's a horrific top deck. The token doubler cards in the past while being EDH all stars, have never done it in Constructed, and I don't see this particularly being any different, it doesn't really pass any of the planeswalker tests, as it doesn't generate any card advantage, and doesn't really do a good job protecting itself. There's too much work required to be put in to make this passable, at which point you might as well just be playing better cards.
How does it fit her character to create sprits? (Ok, I get the graveyard exile, but still...)
Is there any relation between the "Geist Hunter" flavor and token support?
Bonus issues (regular art only):
Why does she break through the window, making a mess and potentially hurting herself, when she has the ability to pass through walls?
The crossbow doesn't feel right either, but that is the least problematic part.
Thanks for pointing these out. The artwork and ultimate make ZERO sense. She should be Kaya, Ghost Conjurer with that ult.

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.

They mentioned she's not happy with Olivia capturing ghosts to use a wedding trails and servants and she's helping free them from the vampires.

lol nice assumption there buddy.
Teferi yes, twins and lukka? nah.
Twins first got cards in Battlebond which came out Summer of 2018 and then shows back up in Throne of Eldraine the Fall 2019 set, Lukka was Ikoria the Spring 2020 set and all three showed back up in Strixhaven the Spring 2021 set. Kaya was last in Kaldheim the winter 2021 set and now in the Winter 2022 set* and before that in the Ravnica 3 block in 2018-2019.
*Crimson Vow is the "winter set" for 2022 before being pushed up two months to change up the release schedule and for this purpose how many sets a part we seen a Kaya card.

Ok, no change to what I said though. This is at least a good card and I will get one for my deck if it doesn't have crazy prices like most cards have these days.
ok finally we got Kaya and she got the final teaser (twice as many tokens)
So this Kaya is a token matters walker that ultimate is obnoxious reminds me of Sorin, Grim Nemesis ultimate but it’s graveyard count instead
Card is very powerful. Not feeling the art. Does she have alt arts?

Turn 2 Kaya and tick up
Turn 3 -2 and cast lingering souls
Turn 4 -2 and flashback lingering souls
Not realistic to happen in any formats I can name but a nice idea.
