Hive-Heart Shaman 3G
Creature - Human Shaman (Rare)
Whenever Hive-Heart Shaman attacks, you may search your library for a basic land card that does not share a land type with a land you control, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle. 5G: Create a 1/1 green Insect creature token. Put X +1/+1 counters on it, where X is the number of basic land types among lands you control. Activate only as a sorcery.
3/5
No idea what this kind of 5-color support is doing in this set (unless Domain is on the horizon in a future set), but sometimes you need the color fixing. You have a maximum 7/7 6/6 Insect with that last ability, but only outside of Standard.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
This is my thought for Capenna, along with Path to the Festival from the last set.

“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"

I don't see why you think Capenna is more likely. Dominaria United sounds like a grand place for domain - after all that's where the mechanic originated - and it very well translates into a theme of "union".

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
So as mentioned earlier, Wastes does not have a basic land type, so the second ability wouldn't check for it. Thus, the insect can only be a 5/5 rather than a 6/6.

With five basic land types, putting five +1/+1 counters on the 1/1 Insect should make a 6/6.

1) Because we know Capenna is a 3 color set
2) We don't know yet what Dominaria will have, so while Domain is possible, it is too early for me to speculate
3) While this is most useful in a 5 color deck, he works fine in 3 colors

It also puts it into play untapped, which is neat!
*okay it's not technically endless, just however many Wastes you have in your library
...You mean 6/6, right?
Interesting five colour supporter. Wonder if that will ever take off in standard.
RUNIN: Norse mythology set (awaiting further playtesting)
FATE of ALARA: Multicolour factions (currently on hiatus)
Contibutor to the Pyrulea community set
I'm here to tell you that all your set mechanics are bad
#Defundthepolice
Can also fetch Wastes regardless of what you control, but I doubt that's at all relevant.
Also wait, the insect tokens don't fly? But, but the art! Hhhh

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
