With Eaten Alive, this set has been giving some really good new Staple cards.

First off at long last a not so broken teferi (well the +1 depends on what what you target though)

And story spotlight so all 4 are working together with this key 3 out of 4 are gatewatch members why do I smell a Oath of Alrin are coming either here or crimson vow

and reminder if Kaya even mentions about Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider on kaldheim (the phyrexian) to any of them particularly to teferi that’s it the phyrexian war starts

then again hard to tell if this was before that because wizard did remember kaya lost her daggers to the trolls right? (but she probably made some new ones though)

Bladebrand is one of my favorite combat tricks ever! I can't remember the last time I was so happy to see a card reprinted!

I don't know if this Teferi is really good or really mediocre. I want him for my Atraxa deck though.

the chain veil gets a new toy. Just needs scorched ruins (can't seem to get that to link) or some other combination of lands and critters that gets you there.

i dunno man, i heard the same crap about the other broken teferis. i think this one is going to fall into the same camp. brushed aside as not broken for a few weeks in the beginning and then oops! we'll see i guess.

"Playable" , but anything but great, given what we are used to see from Idris Elba the planeswalker.

If the +1 was only the "tap the opponent's stuff" part I'd disagree with you, but the untapping your permanent part has the potential to enable some degenerate crap, so let's wait and see.

I like that new Teferi, and the article explaining how they came to his abilities and the right loyalty costs for them. They should write one of those for Oko.

At common, organ hoarder seems pretty good and eaten alive looks great with decayed zombies.

Jack-o-lantern is cute but, as I also noted in the Mystic Skull discussion, really doesn't cut it as mana fixing. Are these the only limited multicolor support we are getting?

Yeah, I'd love to see that one, especially regarding the testing process, or for 3feri, I'm sure there was a very sound reasoning behind bringing that game warping static ability down from 2UUU to 1WU

That Teferi definitely seems broken

Love that we have Jack-o-Lantern in MTG for this set. So on theme, love the Halloween harvest vibes of this return. The flavor text is so ominous though. It's an amazing card too, for my Silas Renn eggs deck

Teferi, Who Slows the Sunset + The Chain Veil + Accomplished Alchemist = Infinite life and mana of all colors.

Then use infinite mana with Filigree Sages to get infinite walker activations via Chain Veil.

Kinda funny how all 4 cards mentioned cost 4
