The UB strategy in Midnight Hunt Limited is to amass all your decayed Zombies, then use numbers to either get non-combat valuefrom all the bodies on the field or just run you over with said numbers. Sometimes, however, you need something big and evasive to get through. For moments like that, this card is available.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that you can cast this in combat after decayed tokens have dealt damage while their sacrifice trigger is on the stack.

if so, pretty decent for limited
I think you’re right within the combat phase there’s a step where combat damage is applied and then a step for end of combat. I think as long as you put this on the stack before the decay triggers it should work.

Embrace the dark you call a home,
Gaze upon an empty, white throne
A legacy of lies,
A familiar disguise
Sing with me a song of conquest and fate
The black pillar cracks beneath its weight
Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone
Lost in thoughts all alone
Some uncommon power level: vampire socialite, this one
Some rare power level: ghoulcaller's harvest, croaking counterpart
I don't get this set

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it works, as long as the decayed token didn't take lethal or otherwise die in combat already. If it is alive to put the sacrifice trigger on the stack, you can respond to that by sacrificing it to this.
Not really worth it if you're just trading one decayed dude for a 2/2 menace, but sacrificing two or more puts a pretty real threat on the board. Feels bad if it gets countered though. Bonus flavor achievement: Cast it with flashback and sacrifice your huge menace dude plus whatever zombies you've made in the meantime to make an even bigger menace dude! Think of how nuts that stitched together creation would look.
