This Delve dragon understands that things do not stay in the graveyard for very long (either from repeated use or the grave hate counterplay), and prepares for it accordingly. Meet the last mythic of the set.
I’m actually not sure what deck wants this. Feels like it could go in UR prowess as a 1 or 2 of, but it also feels like it could be used as a control finisher since it would be basically an evasive 8/8 that comes down late for UU and allows you to hold open counterspells.
Oh boy, Modern UR Prowess might want Murktide Regent. Bedlam Reveler always felt too expensive there for me, but that's because it doesn't count binned lands. With Expressive Iteration and Light Up the Stage as cheap Draw 2 spells there, UR Prowess has enough gas for this Regent.
Big old nothingburger in commander, but honestly, that's a good thing. I'd rather Modern Horizons mythics be maybe good in modern and terrible in commander than have another Urza.
Please, mill me. Mill my important cards. Mill my lands. Mill it all. Because I will still deal 20 damage before you can mill 45 cards most every time.
Also I didn’t realize that most of the mythics were spoiled and this was the last one. I’m kind of sad we’re not going to see the allied “Sword of **** and ****” cycle finished in this set. I was really curious about the design of the Blue & Black sword as well as the Red and Green sword.

Well if you can get 3 instant/sorcery into the GY and 2 lands this is a 2 mana 6/6 flier which isn't nothing if removal is going to be bolt, fatal push, abrupt decay type things. Could be pretty neat as a finisher in a UB control type shell. Spend the first few turns hand disruption and removal then play this turn 4 with Force and Counterspell up.

Definitely, I can see this guy making noise in Control decks, at some point you'll easily delve him out for UU and at least 3 counters to keep him well outside of burn range, and I don't see many Doom Blade or Terminate running around in Modern, this guy dodges almost all removal except for Path, so yeah, it sounds like an excellent finisher.
Doesn't really excite me for some reason... Sure, can be cast cheap AND be big relatively quickly, but even then, it's just a big dumb somewhat evasive beater.

there must be more mythics then this is suppose to be the final mythic and we don't have the mythic white legend
another Logic backfire on the fans apparently

Yeah seriously. As a collector of them, I thought I could relax after Strixhaven but apparently not lol.
Can't say I have any use for this one outside of collecting it though. All this set up for something that's just big and nothing really else.
