Not sure why adding Flashback to a common makes it rare, seems like it should be an uncommon.
not just flashback - instant is huge over sorcery - and the ability to choose the target after you see you hit a 2 or a 14. Not that this set is going to be anything but insane in draft - but if you take this card and toss it in the uncommon spot it could make turn 3 splat you for 8 turn 4 splat you for 14 a viable strategy.

Now that you mention it, flipping Scion of Draco off of this must be living the dream in draft

Sorry for my possible english mistakes, I'm not a native speaker.
If we try throwing this into a UR Through the Breach Emrakul deck, we have plenty of feelbad moments when flipping cantrips, some OK moments flipping Breach/Cryptic Command, and of course the money moment when flipping Emrakul. The Flashback and instant speed makes this serviceable, but this still might not make the cut anywhere in Modern.
If you want to really play this, you want control of your deck.
Its basically a red "miracle" effect in that regard, as a giant burn will win the game in a one-shot, and just to be sure, flashback.
Can burn quite a bit with Delve cards and other high manacost that you might play already, no matter what you need something to guarantee a big hit, not just randomly flipping cards.
meh.... this card is pretty bad and you're going to feel bad when you pull it in a pack.
yeah, you could use something to setup the top of your library to put Emrakul or something there and then cast it for a ton of damage... but then again, it would probably be better just to use that setup and then cast something that will actually throw Emrakul in the battlefield instead of flinging it.
Erratic Explosion => Calibrated Blast

Let this great clan rest in peace (2001-2011)
Yeah, hence the change from "Erratic" to "Calibrated" ;-)

meh, nothing to see here, move along.
Obligatory frame treatments.
