Noble Hierarch is undeniably a great card, but it has one glaring flaw: it doesn't support Jund as well as it should. For that, we need a Goblin Shaman.
There are decks that play Birds of Paradise instead of Noble Hierarch because they need access to black that much. I think Ignoble Hierarch just replaced most of them.

Edit: interesting they chose a goblin for its creature types. Excluding Un sets we’ve had two mono green gobbos before.

Wizards clearly gave very specific art guidance on this to have the same stance as the original. The UBG one will be Ig-Nobel Hierarch.

Sure, this will go down, but it's still likely to be one of the chase rares.
Well demand is high, 4x in lots of decks, as its basically a "known" factor.
