So the problem with MDFCs is that sometimes you want to cast both sides, but you only have the one card (either in hand or your're playing a singleton format). Jadzi and the Journey to her has you covered. Dump lands and get gigantic discounts on things, and the card will always return to your hand. I suggest playing the Journey first, making sure you hit the 8 lands they love so much in Strixhaven.
(Okay, now for the elephant in the room: joining the list of QA issues in this set is the mana cost on Journey to the Oracle. It's 2GG on the regular art, and 1GG on the extended-art version. The printed version has it fixed, fortunately, so we'll just update the card later on.)
Wooow I like this a lot for fatty decks first one comes to mind is top card is Zacama, Primal Calamity if I spot that of untap lands sudden tap every single land
It wasn't about the oracle, it was about the mana ramp we made along the way.
Also, that's one BEEFY old lady... Of course, her Magecraft ability is extremely powerful, you can potentially chain multiple instants/sorceries and just pay 1 for the 2nd and beyond. To not make it too ridiculous, they had to make her costly, and to not make it too ludicrous, they had to give her stats roughly in accordance to her mana cost... Still, I'd have been fine with a significantly higher toughness vs. low paper.
Also, I don't see where the problem is with the premiere version of the card costing less. This should be a standard feature.

And there’s something in particular in blue that’s a nonland permanent that's known to instantaneously end the game what’s that card oh yea....Omniscience
Shame that Explore and Growth Spiral rapidly become mere cantrips by Turn 4 or later, or Journey to the Oracle actually might have been good in Modern.
Actually, with around 28 or so out of 60 cards being lands, how often can Journey to the Oracle dump 2 or more lands out of your hand?

So we're basically just looking at a hypergeometric calculation, where your sample size is 11 (cards drawn by turn 4 on the draw), and you're looking to have 6 lands out of those 11, so you'll end up with about a 40% chance to dump 2 or more if you drop it on curve.
Designing these mythic DFC's must've been really tough. Not only does it have to feel mythical in nature (big creature and/or big effect), but needs to tie into the other side. Both sides need to feel relevant. I applaud R&D for making these; they better have gotten a lobster dinner as a reward!
Ok, I guess that mistakes happen, but this one is the second one for this spoiler season, and both were on big, splashy mythics ... at that point, you should really ask yourself if your QA is working properly

My personal theory is that this set would have been going into editing/locked down on stuff like creature type changes about a year ago. Which was a time period, notably, that would have involved a lot of confusion and extra work, as Wizards switched to working from home.
Really tempted to throw this in my friends' Omnath, Locus of Creation deck for EDH / Commander. Apparently MTGGoldfish and TCGPlayer has this listed on pre-order for $50 where as Card Kingdom has it going for $12.

Never preorder anything at this ludicrous price tags.
If its a single digit $ , sure go ahead, but anything over that, is guaranteed to go down, unless its a all-format all-star.

one accept to that rule though Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider is around a average of 44$ but clearly the only playable format is commander due to the other formats opponents can infinite off vorinclex with persist/undying and other cards
it's only that ridiculous price tag because of standard so if exspensive due to standard wait for rotation or banning for those types of prices if playable in standard same thing happened with the scarab god price tag
Crazy how we were promised a new Jin-Gitaxias in Strixhaven and yet it doesn't look as though he's one of the new Mythics in the set.

Worrying about what your opponents might play vs what you definitely play isn't really a winning strategy.

No the community all said Jin was gonna be in the set, wizard never said anything.

Only 4 of the 21 oracles in Magic are from Theros related sets. Suffice it to say, Theros by no means has a monopoly on the concept.
