Target creature gets -X/-X until end of turn, where X is 7 minus the number of cards in its controller's hand. "I'd bet no one has failed my class twice."

Oriq Warlock 2BB
Creature - Human Warlock T: Search your library for a card, put it in your graveyard, then shuffle. If it was an instant or sorcery card, put a +1/+1 counter on Oriq Warlock. Nothing can quench the Oriq's thirst for the forbidden knowledge of the past.
repeatable entomb? I'll wait until the official translation before believing it, sounds to good

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
4 mana 3/3 that needs to stay around a turn, thats pretty bad ...
If you get to tutor for 1 card and it dies, its still quite bad for its manacost.
It only gets rolling if it stick for 2+ turns and you actually benefit from the card you tutor in a meaningful way.
The only way its not dead all the time is when the opponent has no removal at all, and no board that threatens you as blocking with a 3/3 is also fairly bad.
Instead of tapping it, this could work so incredible well as a Magecraft trigger, then you could chain a bunch of flashback spells and the like and keep casting stuff from the graveyard ... but as it is, this seems not good at all.
"Failure", while kinda a whiff against U/X(/Y) Control late-game, should be decent to quite good against other decks. Opponents going near-Hellbent so this can kill Goyf is shockingly common, and if most else fails, this can kill Bob.
"Oriq Spellcaster" (that second word does not match the more probable Warlock creature type it has) looks pretty good when Entombing Flashback spells like Lingering Souls. ...Of course, it's a 4-cmc creature that dies to Bolt.
*see the removal and and 4CMC comments on the warlord*
is there people here talk commander and not other formats?
1. Haste enablers
2. Untappers
3. Recursion for this and cards it tutors
4. Boots and other enablers
5.Darksteel Plate and other indestructible enablers
6. You wait for dust to settle (which is code for opponents used up removal for other stuff.)
Oriq Warlock is like a riskier Gravebreaker Lamia. Both have a decent body and can Entomb something at Turn 5, but Oriq Warlock can do it multiple times... assuming it survives. If it dies immediately, it does squat. Lamia on the other hand gives you all the benefit up front and comes with a better Lifelinking body, but it's not repeatable. Seeing how Lamia is not exactly setting Standard ablaze, I'll assume the Warlock is also a Commander card only. And with them being Commander cards... the correct answer is "why not both?".
If the opponent doesn't respond to the 1st Oriq activation trigger, they dead.
A single Jarad's Orders can setup a kill in a few turns too.
Even better, Oriq Loremage can set up the combo by itself over several turns. Entomb a copy of itself, then Entomb Necrotic Ooze, then Entomb Unburial Rites. Entomb a Haste-granter in between if you're scared. Your opponent now needs to kill 8 creatures in time instead of 4 (assuming Modern and not EDH), and you can raise hell by Entombing stuff like Tracker's Instincts instead and also including Vizier of Remedies in your deck.
