Then again, coexisting means being exposed to things you might not necessarily agree with.
Exactly.
I think this has already been mentioned, but it's really hard to coexist with other people who don't want you to exist at all. There are some attitudes, opinions, and behaviors that don't get a pass under the auspices of tolerance (or free speech), and bigotry might be at the very top of that list.
You can donate to anything, you do not have to support anything behind that cause.
Right, basically funding something is not supporting it in any way, shape or form. Right.
Bear in mind that you're responding to someone who firmly believes, and has posted here in no uncertain terms, that "racism doesn't exist anymore but calling someone racist is horrible and divisive."
Equating support of Nazis to "disliking someone for an opinion" is a massive reductionist take. It's not like people are after her because she likes pineapple on pizza or anything more reasonable.
To slap a "Nazi" label on everyone you disagree with is exactly the problem.
It undermines actual problems that do exist and put that label on extremely way too many people, to brand them as a target for other extremist people to leash on.
If you label people you dislike as Nazi and at the same time justify any violence and harm to these people because of it, you have to deeply question what you are doing.
Terese Nielsen is not a Nazi.
Ben Shapiro is absolutely not a Nazi.
Donald Trump is not a Nazi.
Alex Jones is not a Nazi.
Jordan Peterson is a not a Nazi.
and the list goes on and on.
Basically everyone in the book thats remotely conservative is labeled a Nazi, why ? Its a branding and a attack on character and the person itself.
And people dont think what that does, they just casually throw it around, as they got used to it, just like the issues of old, when people got called the N-Word , or anything "bad" was just casually labeled as "thats gay" ... you have to realize the damage this does, and you reserve the words for what they actually mean and describe, not broadly everyone as an insult.
If people want actual inclusion and diversity, they should actually mean that and not pick their favorites and brand anything else as the enemy.

I echo this. It's hard to get behind something that says openly that someone like me, a MTF transfemale (pre-treatment), should not exist because reasons. I get people have a right to their opinion but when those opinions become deadly and purposely prevent someone from having an existence, that's where the line in the sand is drawn.

Eh, Beaver already told me all I need to know about you. You're severely out of touch with reality, zero reason in attempting to reason with you. And I'm not broadly using it as an insult, it's being used for specific people because the alt-right is that. But you also think racism is over and no doubt other insane things so I doubt you'll get the point being made.
Right, basically funding something is not supporting it in any way, shape or form. Right.
You can donate to any political cause or any organization.
The chances you agree with ALL of their points on the agenda are practically zero.
To then pick a hand full of points and pretend that person "must 'clearly' agree with it" is pretentious and to make that claims is a agenda to undermine and harm a persons character ... a very disgusting practice, as people will go to great lengths to seek the misery of others, just to make them feel slightly better about themselves, till they fall back and realize how pathetic that attempt was (which results in an endless loop of finding more people to brandish).

The extremist sees only extremists.
Terese Nielsen never sought the destruction of anybody, but plenty of people jumped on the hate train against her, blindly following the blood track of the stabbing against her character.
Then they celebrate to demolished a beloved community member, and go out for the next victim.
At some point people realize that, sadly its most of the time when the finger is pointed at them and its too late ...

I like chicken sandwiches, but I refuse to eat at Chik-fil-A. It's actually pretty easy to a) be mindful of what other people do with your money, and b) withhold it altogether if you take issue with any one thing they do with it. Sometimes what a person is willing to tolerate says as much about them as what they overtly agree with.

Imagine going this hard for someone who supports Neo Nazis, follows, likes and listens to Neo Nazis, donates their work to Neo Nazis and doesn't disparage Neo Nazis, and then getting touchy and semantic when she gets called a neo nazi. You can play word games all day until this thread, inevitably, gets locked, but at the end of the day, you defending someone who is a QAnon supporter and donates work to Neo Nazis. Again, what does that make you?
"Sure, conservatives are all about reducing movement of non-white voters and restricting access to care for LGBTQ people but by golly I love their business agenda!"

If you don't agree with most of their points then you don't donate to them. It's... common sense honestly. Your stance on the alt-right should not be anywhere from neutral to positive, and at the end of the day that's the only sensible conclusion when you look at those actions.
This was the proof for me. Likes are one thing, but being willing to donatemoney to said groups in the form of prints for fundraising, then you know she believes them entirely.
You can donate to anything, you do not have to support anything behind that cause.
You like wasting money or something?
Terese is an artist. Her artworks are her livelihood. If she willingly donates her main source of income and her main selling point to something, that means that something is something she believes and stands for as much as she possibly can.
You can donate to any political cause or any organization.
The chances you agree with ALL of their points on the agenda are practically zero.
Right. Guess what? Even if she doesn't fully embrace the worst points on the agenda of the groups she supported, it still means she at best doesn't care that they're there. Still not a great situation to be in when it comes to the kind of groups that are involved here.
Unless you're the kind of person that would say "Antonio may be a murderous thug serving the mafia, but I like how he keeps his lawn, so I'll support him".
“We can disagree and still love each other. Unless your disagreement is rooted in my oppression and denial of my humanity and right to exist.” -James Baldwin

You can donate to whatever you want and gift anything to any charity of your liking.
Doing so is neither bad or a problem.
People that pick pretend that you are not allowed to support some groups or people do far more harm undermining peoples individual freedom to make their own choices.
If you gift a homeless person something you are not responsible for anything if that person goes out and commits a crime ... its simply not how charity works.
So an homosexual person with right wing beliefs is evil, but a left wing homosexual is good? Is so much funny how people that claim to be the defenders of homosexuals try to destroy an homosexual woman.
