Ward is fine, honestly preferable to hexproof. As its meant as a deterrent not outright unable to be targeted so it can allow more a back and forth. I hope it replaces hexproof all together.

Lesson/Learn is good and I feel, while it can't be used in edh, its a good thing that wizards should make deciduous when it comes to wish spells. I also appreciate the introduction spells being colorless. For example, Introduction to Prophecy is great as its basically a Divination anyone can run. As being able to scry 2 is about on par with drawing a card in terms of value, outside that one sphinx of course where this just reads instead draw 2 cards, then draw a card.

I feel people will have one dean they actually build a deck around, with the other as backup or just to provide the secondary color. For example I think that Plarrg, Dean of Chaos might a good fit for the deck I am working on in EDH if the unlimited red sorcery is also 3cmc or less.

Does Ward mean stuff like Frost Titan, Diffusion Sliver and what not will be receiving errata?

And MaRo said Ward will not be replacing Hexproff, they will coexist. But he did mention a week ago Hexproof is the evergreen ability most in danger of losing its evergreen status.

Yeah, I'd guess those sorts of cards will receive an update. They barely put hexproof on stuff anymore anyway, or it's conditional like on Dream Trawler. This is the sort of thing that bothers me though--why get rid of hexproof? Just print answers to it like you always have. Give us more playable edicts and wraths and hexproof is fine.

Well, no. The complaints people have about DFCs have been consistent since they were first introduced a decade ago. Certainly some players took to them then and now, but it's not like the complaints about them are new.

And if you don't want sleeves, just use the checklist/blank card they now have are just as easy as lands to get a hold of.

Fair point. I'll admit that it's mostly obstinacy, but I'm not going to go out of my way to make clunky cards play slightly less clunkily, I'll just not play them and let others have their fun.

Shadrix Silverquill in 2HG perhaps? His ability can target teammates.
