I don't see this being all that useful for a foretell strategy. I feel like 1 could have been for each card in exile and 2 a tad more mana for foretell stuff, but maybe that's too much.
Is that irony, or does the name just not match the effect? This could have been the foretell hate card, first revealing your opponent's foretold cards, then allowing you to pick ond and put it into the graveyard, thereby defying their prediction.
This is way narrow for draft, standard is up in the air for if this is useful enough tech to include, and any of the other formats I severely doubt this is going to see play in much.
They probably had a prototype card that was just foretells matters and made it Azorious. Niko probably evolved over time and wound up defying destiny. Such as Niko not originally defying destiny but being some sort of oracle for it. That gets scrapped and flavor shifts around, but they forget to change the mechanical part. I wonder if the Saga was the original planeswalker card in early design.
There could have been a much more flavorful foretell saga, but I guess they just had to make a spotlight for their new diversity walker and this fits the colors...
Yer I don't see it for this. The 1st chapter is likely to just be gain 2 life. Foretell generally has the problem that it involves taking turn 2 off, this card wants you to pretty much take turn 3 off as well, you just can't do that in competitive Magic, you will be too far behind by the time you are getting to the board.
The irony here is the card that supports foretell is about someone defying what has been foretold anyways.

as others have mentioned, the name is a 100% flavor fail, but whatever. Card seems decent I guess?
