Kardur Doomscourge 2BR
Legendary Creature - Demon Berserker
When Kardur Doomscourge enters the battlefield, until your next turn, creatures your opponents control attack each combat if able and attack a player other than you if able.
Whenever an attacking creature dies, each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life.

Fall of the Impostor 1GW
Enchantment - Saga
I, II - Put a +1/+1 counter on up to one target creature.
III - Exile a creature with the greatest power among creatures target opponent controls.
Goad makes it's Standard-legal debut... sorta. Oh, and Tibalt loses. Definitely didn't see that coming. /s
If it weren't for "Fall of the Impostor" being too expensive for Lurrus of the Dream-Den and not being a creature, I can see people experimenting with it in existing Modern decks. Note how the adding of +1/+1 counters can help you rig exiling a normally small opposing utility dude.
So....Kaya and Tyvar Kell defeat Tibalt and fight Vorinclex? Note that the top of the tree, where the sword is, is quite clearly Vorinclex's faceplate.
EDIT: And based on the functionality of the card, they probably kill or defeat Vorinclex as well.

I wish that demon was some other creature type that could slot into a Marisi deck to add some more redundancy.
And I will be really disappointed if Kaya and some newbie roll up and take out one of the more powerful Praetors like it’s nothing. It wouldn’t be as bad as the Jacetice League taking out two of the three Eldrazi like it was nothing, but it would still be really freaking stupid. The villains get taken out too easily, it makes everything feel so low-stakes. What’s even the point of having an ongoing story for years and years if everything gets resolved with lazy ass-pulls?
I'm really betting that Vorinclex makes this a new Phyrexian realm and this isn't the last we see of this. As others have pointed out, phyrexian berserkers and vikings as invaders of other planes makes a lot of sense as well as the ten realms of Kaldheim or whatever being analogous to the spheres of Phyrexia. Vorinclex and friends controlling the bifrost may be the way they invade other planes.

*snaps* vorinclex was probably after the sword he goes home and gives it to jin-Gitaxas and uses it as the final piece to repair the planar portal the Memnarch made a while back after they were deactivated by the mending
Why would such a key story spotlight card (especially one that isn't "WOW THIS WILL REALLY SELL THE SET" amazing) spoiled so early, and out of order, and way before the official story even hints at any of this? I get it that we'll get all the cards spoiled soon enough anyway, but this still feels like a bad roll-out to me.
I like that red/black berserker demon. It has lots of competition in my Queen Marchesa EDH deck, but just the sort of effect she'd love.
If Vorinclex dies, its a failure in writing. I can only hope that the exile part is codeword for banish as in 'banish Vorinclex from Kaldheim'. I can only hope based on the look of the saga that while they are climbing to reclaim the sword and fight vorinclex, based on his own stature compared to them in the art, that he is too powerful right now for them to take on.
And also, looks like Tibalt is gonna be a punchline again.
EDIT: And based on the functionality of the card, they probably kill or defeat Vorinclex as well.
Why? The functionality just describes what happens to three characters: Two progress, one gets taken down. This seems to tell the story of Tibalt's defeat at the hand of two 'walkers just fine.
So, the card that represents Tibalt's defeat can't destroy Tibalt?
Well, you see, only if he isn't currently usurping the spot of a God creature and you cast his MDFC's back-side.

Heck, every day I wake up, I don't go out and kill people - and I'm rewarded by not having legions of enemies! Amazing how that works.
Although ninjas are experts of camouflage and concealment, they are actually horrible liars. This means that no matter where you are, you can shout out, “Are there any ninjas here?” and if there’s a ninja within earshot, he’ll be compelled to respond.
You're thinking Doomskar, as in Doomskar Orcale. The name Doomscourge isn't a translation, it's from the URL of the card image from the source site.
Ah, I see. I couldn't recall if they used a c or a k in Doomskar, and didn't check before the post. My bad.
And I didn't know about the URL situation. Interesting! So I guess it's just Doomskar Warrior in German then, because the portmanteau doesn't quite work. Thanks for the clarification.
Yup so glad that vorinklex is just a one-of phyrexian and couldn't possibly derail the main story of the plane...or us naysayers are exactly correct and phyrexia has already ruined the plane.

If vorinclex ends up with the sword he will probably open the door from new phyrexia and bring his friends in
and that would depict the Ragnarok which is the apocalypse in Norse mythology

So what you're saying is the fall of Kaldheim is actually more true to Norse mythology than whatever people imagined and feel robbed of
Huh that's quite correct and I can't wait to see phyrexian Norse berserkers invading other planes

Not exactly because Ragnarok was a end of the world battle which was the death of several of the gods and the phyrexians ambushing kaldheim is that battle
but later the world got resurfaced a new and repopulated this will probably happen after the gatewatch and karns team beats the phyrexians in a future set

The realm sword is in there too and it’s pretty much on vorinclex's head
why Do I have a feeling vorinclex takes the realm sword from tibalt
That would be much satisfying than the good guys winning again

Doomscourge is a good name, but the Doomscar being a proper noun in the lore makes me curious if it's a translation thing.
