Okay so what are the rulings for the MDFC’s going to be in the command zone. I’m assuming we’re going to have every permanent type, which includes a possible land, but how will that work?
I'd wait until we actually see a God/Land MDFC before we assume it. I think it's more likely that the other two are creatures and artifacts, and we just happened to see the 3 in the cycle that have different types. It's also possible we'll have more than just the 5 card mythic cycle of gods, but we'll see.
Anyways, if they do print a God/Land MDFC, they'd almost certainly have to update the comprehensive rules, since currently you would be unable to play the land half (The commander rules give permission to "cast" the commander, not play it), so we'd see any updates to how that works at that time. So the answer is "currently, it wouldn't work, but they would probably change it so it does, and we can't say exactly what changes they'd make".
Did the stream provide any explanation for why Vorinclex is in Kaldheim?
Also, I'm surprised that Niko turned out WU instead of UR. That planeswalker's Mothership article screamed UR to me, especially Niko's disregard for destiny and willingness to pilot their own path, regardless of what others think about it.
They didn't go over anything Phyrexian in the stream, Vorinclex was at the very end like a Marvel end credit teaser.

Sorry but Tibalt is too much a meme to me to take him so seriously. The fact that he was able to pass as a god make me inevitably think that Kaldheim's people are stupid. I mean fooled by Tibalt!
The cards seem good, thankfully snow is there! i wonder if it's only for instants and sorceries

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Okay I am a little confused now. If Valki is the mono black God (not sure because he is basically multicolored?) what color will Reidane be? White with a black backside? But we have Halvar, too. She can't be the green or red god. It would make no sense. Why should all Valkyries be in Orzhov.
Maybe Valki/Tibalt is not part of the cycle?
Varragoth's Boast ability is nuts. Potentially a repeatable tutor (slap a Whispersilk Cloak on him, and he's good) in the command zone.
Its not completely nuts, but it is VERY VERY good. Its not demonic tutor which folks will have to get used to but its more like Worldly Tutor in that it places the card on top of your deck so unless you have a draw effect its not insta grab.
Which really means that in the older formats or any format with fetchlands of whatever stripe you have to go thru a draw phase if you have used the boast first instead of on EOT on your opponents or basically you paid 2 mana for nothing.
I love the new tibalt I think it’s fun that both sides allow you to play with cards in the other players deck 10/10.

Embrace the dark you call a home,
Gaze upon an empty, white throne
A legacy of lies,
A familiar disguise
Sing with me a song of conquest and fate
The black pillar cracks beneath its weight
Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone
Lost in thoughts all alone

I'm pretty sure it was explicitely written somewhere on the PW mothership's article that they were Azorius.
I'm liking a lot of cards so far, and I also love love LOVE that it seems to confirm the general powerlevel decrease that started with ZNR is here for a while.
Is it me or Masked Vandal is secretly one of the best cards spoiled today? Damn. A Reclamation Sage for 1 less, that exiles instead of destroy, given you can exile a creature from your grave? And it's a changeling? I'll be playing this guy for sure.

That thing is practically rare quality. I can't believe it's a common. That said, that's probably because it will be a one-drop in my tribal tribal deck.
He's good, but he's weaker than he looks. First you have to wait a turn so he can attack then you have to wait another turn to draw the card, and he has to survive combat to actually be better than Grim Tutor. He's ridiculous with haste, card draw, and evasion, but that's a lot of work to put in for that payoff.
Please, mill me. Mill my important cards. Mill my lands. Mill it all. Because I will still deal 20 damage before you can mill 45 cards most every time.

and The person who hired her is completely unknown
either we’re finally gonna get a confirmed praetor to be dead or this is gonna be kayas first fail on a bounty
And the mystery gets more confusing on how he got there he may have been there .....THE WHOLE TIME!
Maybe Tezzeret is on New Phyrexia and is sending the competition away, probably alling himself with either Norn or Gin. I would not be suprised to see Sheodred showing up in Faerun or being the giant spider from Hogwarts

Isn't Sheoldred dead? Would be interesting if, after Bolas's defeat, Tezz fled back to New Phyrexia, went mono-black and took control of Sheldred's former faction.
But surely they aren't dumb enough to put Phyrexians (or any Mtg character, really) in the D&D set?

hmmmm, kinda, he demands an answer or else he'll keep making you draw the perfect card all the time.
but yeah, it might be a lot worse than what I thought at first glance
I think they're just way less flashy. The plus one has it's uses for a blue or white deck that may have trouble getting past larger creatures, or for making use of multiple sides of a DFC, or taking advantage of a good ETB trigger. The first minus one can potentially do a lot of damage in a blue deck, and will always at the very least deal 2 to a tapped creature. And as for the second: clue tokens were fairly good, and these are slightly improved versions of them, that you can vary how many you get based on early/late game.
I don't think Niko is going to blow the socks off of any format, nor are they going to be the card people point to as "winning the game," but I think they'll be a really solid piece in a slower, more controlling type of deck.
They're rough to evaluate because a lot of their power is tied up in the Shards. On one hand, if you ignore the cost to activate the shards, they're insane: a XWUU spell that draws you X cards and also leaves behind a planeswalker that draws you even more, or has removal to protect themselves. On the other hand, 2 mana per card you want to draw (with a bonus scry) is not an ignorable cost. That said, as enchantments, they're likely fairly safe to store Shards for later, and just crack them when you have spare mana? So I think they'll play stronger than they initially look. But probably something for a semi controlling deck that has creatures with ETB abilities (to abuse their +1).
Anyways, if they do print a God/Land MDFC, they'd almost certainly have to update the comprehensive rules, since currently you would be unable to play the land half (The commander rules give permission to "cast" the commander, not play it), so we'd see any updates to how that works at that time. He has to live a turn and you also need 2 mana available, so probably not.
