I don't normally go in for the old border art style but this one looks so cool In everything going on with Kaldheim I completely forgot this set was coming out.

The old school border should be a "foil" thing they do regularly just as a more rare foil variation.

Some people much prefer the style.

Wow, I hadn't heard about this and just assumed it was something for Arena. Since this is an actual paper product I may be tempted to buy quite a bit of it depending on what is included. This seems like a decent way to go about reprinting needed cards from Time Spiral block and presumably other older blocks. I hope they actually drive down some of the more expensive cards. Hopefully the packs aren't filled with mostly draft chaff.

Oh and I have a theory the Oracle update offical came out but still no reveal on what older cards will get the typing

but we get

Phyrexian is now officially a creature type, but it's important that you don't tell anyone.

I feel either here in “time spiral remastered” or after the Kaldheim story we will see the update

Well we can probably surmise that any creature with the word "phyrexian" in it will be given that creature type from like Phyrexian Gremlins to Phyrexian Defiler and beyond.

Did you expect better foiling? Have they promised to improve yet, or been silent to complaints and feedback?

So far for the timeshifted cards: Lotus Bloom, Relentless Rats, Chalice of the Void, Path to Exile
I think its safe to assume that either a large portion or all of the timeshifted cards are from Mirrodin or later done in pre-Mirrodin style.

this might be a point for my theory that the phyrexian Oracle update might be around “time spiral remastered” (reprinting creatures getting the phyrexian typing over there.)

I know what you mean, but be patient and give it time.
Eventually, I suspect those shiny shimmer myrs which are quite cheap today will rise significantly all the same (consider it was its first foil reprint since Mirrodin Besieged, and every artifact-heavy commander deck wants it)

This lotus bloom promo is amazing in old border, and while I may not preorder any boxes, I'll certainly buy these individually once they're sold back to stores and available for resale
