I wish I could still play that Microprose game, alas no computer and not enough of a wiz to manage to have windows 95

11:15, restate my assumptions: 1. Mathematics is the language of nature. 2. Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. 3. If you graph these numbers, patterns emerge. Therefore: There are patterns everywhere in nature. - Maximillian Cohen.
First we finally went to kaldheim now we might finally go to shandalar (playing card form not pc)
You mean: We ll finaly have a set that all cards belong to Shandalar..
M14 and M15 all had Shandalar cards and stories.
IMO this looks fake of something leaked from a designers project. I mean, we are heading to Kaldheim then Harry Poter set. After that we alread know that there will be a Faerun set followed by 2 Innistrad sets (maybe realeased as only one set) If they were to print this on card board (what it looks like) this would not come before the Faerun set boosters (and lets be honest, they are still printing Kaldheim boosters, after the release they will be printing harry potter boosters..) Soo no way this is a print insert (unless it is a suplemental product...)
If true this was leaked from the market/design department therefore they probably don't even have playtest cards for it.
And if true they will probably change the name (think about it like the material we got for Ixalan and how the set and plane would have another name... I only remember that Rivals of Ixalan would be called Coquest of Power or something like this)
Why would they change the name? If it is indeed Shandalar, it is a very well-known part of the multiverse and to change it to something even remotely different from that would be a yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggggggggggeeeeee disservice to the fanbase/vorthos community. I can picture MTG Historian's reaction right now if they did.

It is probably (if real) a comission for the set name and Symbol. Like, if they want it to be Shandalar 100% (they probably have already some key art commissioned and probably are starting playtests ) they probably will name Shandalar but can just change the subtitle (for exemple Shandalar: land of mystery or Shandalar: land of mana , etc)
IMO just a internal market research that got leaked, if we see Shandalar imo the logo will probably change (Soo the "S" doesn't look like an "U" )
Shandalar is a rogue micro-plane that, based on the game, consists of one land mass mostly and in the scope of the multiverse could be considered an island or it could be referring to a certain island on Shandalar.
I don't think we should treat a lot of the PC game info as canon though - Many locations known to be on Shandalar weren't in the game (such as Thune, Evos Isle, Xathrid, Valkas, Kalonia, the Skep, the Onakke catacombs) - heck, even the city of Ardestan known from the game's lore wasn't on the game map. Then again, you also have Eloren Wilds...

Shandalar is more than just one island in the mist, though. I call fake unless proven otherwise.
Attached image is the whole world map (its one island)
Tutorial video for Shandalar (Opening scene is mist/smoke/fog and utilizes it throughout the video): https://youtu.be/1jp4tMSIr_U
while I doubt this is the exact 1:1, its kind of funny to me at least.
Seeing that image I hope there's a nonbasic uncommon land cycle for those color castles. Make them Temple of the False God style lands that make two of the color. That's all I want is to open a pack and get Green Castle.

Nop, Shandalar has at least 2 more known Islands outside of the main island/continent also the shandalar game happened way in the past of the plane. M14 and M15 are still better sources of information on modern day Shandalar.
