There isn’t any merit in trying to go over an argument with an ulterior motive. If someone is arguing in bad faith you’re simply wasting your time. The issue in his examples has zero to do with Kaya as a character after all,
Sounds like Fake News to me when the "ulterior motive" you've inferred is only your own delusion.
You guys just love misusing loaded buzzwords, don't you? First Mary Sue, then "CNN bad," now fake news. When a post is composed of marginally-related buzzwords why would anyone want to engage with that earnestly?
Define "you guys"
Here's your available vocabulary list, per CNN's indoctrination rituals:
Racist
Sexist
Bigot
Misogynist
Transphobic
Except none of those apply to the valid reasons to criticize Kaya, or all Planeswalkers, as characters.
Bolas was the focus of a core set, as was Teferi. Huatli I believe was the face of the second Ixalan block. And yep, Saheeli was the face of Kaladesh.
My bad since i failed to specify that i was refering to the block and not each set seperately. I am also referring to the story sets and not the core sets.

See this is what I was talking about. Why would anyone react to this in earnest? It's something to roll your eyes at when your odd uncle shares his favorite reactionary facebook memes
Anyway, I'm pretty sure the 'face' of a set refers to who is most prominently featured on the promotional material. As in, the public-facing marketing and who represents the company, set, or product. A protagonist is different. An example could be the spokesperson of a company, as opposed to the CEO or owner. Or how Freddy Krueger is the face of A Nightmare on Elm Street but is never the protagonist of the story.

I wonder if Oko will be the big bad, or if it will maybe be Ramaz?
I kinda hope it's Ramaz. I know he's not the "Loki" archetype but I don't know if you'd need a planeswalker to fill that role. It might not even be a PW. We could see a god be the set's main antagonist again.

People don't like what I have to say about a card game? Clearly CNN is behind this.
Does anyone have any speculation about how the gods will be colored? Enemy colored gods? I'll be happy to see new gods no matter what color they are but I'm really hoping this new plane will have a continuation of a dual land cycle already started so we can get the enemy color versions. Enemy versions of the Scattered Groves cycle or the Sunken Hollow cycle or even the Foreboding Ruins cycle. After building many a commander deck the disparity in available fixing between allied and enemy colored lands is getting pretty noticeably lopsided.

Though they probably won't be, i think that the gods should be 3 colored. Loki archetype is sultai, thor jeskai odin bant and so on. Reidane god of judjement sounds like esper to me and the other guy, god of wisdom sounds likes bant to me. I am quite sure however based on the names that the gods won't ge monocolored. Judgement at the very least is orzhov and wisdom simic or azorious. I personally expect to have a pantheon of 10 even if not all get cards.
Didn't they say that they were completing the MDFC land cycle in Kaldheim? Would that mean that there isn't another rare land cycle? If that's the case we can maybe guess what color some gods will be if they correspond with the remaining lands waiting to be printed. If I'm not mistaken we are missing Azorius, Golgari, Rakdos and Simic combinations.
Or the lands may not correspond but if that's the case and there isn't another cycle then I would assume the gods would be monocolor. If they are multicolor I would assume there would have to be corresponding duals to help cast them and play their themes in limited.

Not sure tbh. I admit that I'm kinda hoping the gods aren't merely mono-colour as we have plenty of mono-coloured gods as it is.

We already know that the cycle of DFC dual lands started in Zendikar Rising will be completed over the course of three sets, correct?

Heck, every day I wake up, I don't go out and kill people - and I'm rewarded by not having legions of enemies! Amazing how that works.
Although ninjas are experts of camouflage and concealment, they are actually horrible liars. This means that no matter where you are, you can shout out, “Are there any ninjas here?” and if there’s a ninja within earshot, he’ll be compelled to respond.

No. All four remaining MDFC lands will be in Kaldheim. https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/making-magic/zendikar-rising-challenge-part-2-2020-09-07
"The thing that seemed to seal the deal, interestingly, was a bunch of MDFC designs I'd made years earlier (I tracked down all my old designs from our mini team)—a ten-card cycle I'd made of MDFC dual lands. The moment people saw those, they were like, "We have to make these." (Six of them appear in Zendikar Rising, with the remaining four appearing in Kaldheim.)"

I'm excited for Kaldheim and I am excited for more of these modal cards. But my goodness Rosewater just loves to stroke himself. "we made lots of MDFC's but nothing worked until I pulled out MY cards that I created"...okay
From what Maro has said about Theros 1 I don't think we will see more than a single cycle or so. They said it was hard to make and balance 15 mythic rare "godly" creatures who are hard to get rid off. Amonkhet and Theros 2 did have more than the main mono-color cycle but it was for story/flavor reasons and not a fully cycle.
Now the fact we have Ikoria and Theros around adds some things to think on with colors. They try to tie set themes together so I could see wedge colors or enemy color gods appearing to work with Ikoria and not to have two sets of gods in each mono-color.
On the other hand Norse, Greek and Egyptian are the big known (non-living) pantheons in western culture. And if they do non-mono colored gods we might not a full cycle of them.
Another thought is if the gods will be DFC/MDFC. Could be a new way playing into "need worship" theme the theros and amonkhet gods are. Maybe one side is a artifact (like a hammer) or a cleric and if you have the right "worship" they can transform/ you can play them on the god side.
