The problem with these cards is the maintenance of the IP rights. As it stands, a card's uniqueness for deck construction is defined by its English card name. The Godzilla cards had a functional, but cumbersome way to preserve the card name. In order to preserve the reprintability of crossover cards, can they ammend that rule to indicate that cards possessing these names are treated the same way as a foreign card name? If they can't give the promise of reprint potential - this is an extremely dangerous precedent.
Teaming up with Konami, huh? Seems like an odd move for WotC - not because of the Yugioh thing, but because Hasbro seems to pride itself on being very family-friendly, and it's an open secret that Konami is run by the yakuza. I would not be surprised if the IP licensing thing does end up completely falling through, because Konami's management is in the habit of promising things relating to their properties and then changing their minds at the last minute (see: Silent Hill 2015).
nice SotN reference. That game was awesome!
Game state ill needs a savior such as you. Your sideboard is as empty as your soul!
Perhaps the same can be said of all expansions...
