Landfall - when a land enters the battlefield put a +1/+1 counter on target creature
comparing to all other commander decks these are way way way weaker compared to every other main commander pre-con legends ever made but this is still very good and a massive improvement to the planeswalker decks
Ps reminder Gavin confirmed they are still doing the 5 yearly commander decks each year these Weaker ones are just what’s replacing the planeswalker decks in non-core sets
I mean... even though they are fairly weak in comparison to other commander decks we have seen, they are still a lot cooler than the planeswalker decks we normally get.
I like them because they are simple and open up a little more design space for the themes and colors.
They might not be Allstars in the format, but they will make for some interesting decks.

Szadek prevents the damage, this mills on top of the damage. With some card draw if you hit a creature card.
I think these are both interesting and will be fun to play, even if they aren't exceptionally powerful. Ubuun in particular looks promising, it'll at least slot directly into my awaken/land creatures deck.

I have a Sygg, River Cutthroat deck with a lot of rogue tribal in it. It’s pretty good.
When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.

Called Obuun being the Naya legend. Nice to see the destroyer of the Bala Ged Skyclave is there. Even with the massive amounts of landfall in Naya colors in the set, this should still be interesting. Anowon makes me wonder how many reprints my UB evasion EDH deck can get.
One criticism of Anowon's last effect is that it should have been a Dimir Cutpurse effect. "If the player mills at least one creature this way, that player discards a card and you draw a card"

There’s no law saying you *have* to run Palinchron, Power Artifact, etc. in the 99.
It can be more goofy Rogue support like Knowledge Exploitation and Notorious Throng.
