Wow...I am really not sure how to evaluate the power level of the angel. In a vacuum - it reduces your opponent to 15 life (if you both have 20 life - you attack for 15 and win) - but on the other hand it gives all their damage a sort of lifelink. It also sets up a very enviable position for control decks where they are fogging each turn until you hit that 35 life point total when they murderous rider the angel post combat and end up none the worse for maybe 1-3 turns of your attacks.
The Angel is super strange. She denied your combat damage to players for life gain. You need 11 additional life to end the game after she attacks. The wording seems to work with multiple attack steps even though a Blade of Selves would end up being more efficient.
Do the players get twice the amount of life when you have two of them on the field?
She could have been a funny build around commander but I guess it helps standard play ability.

I do believe that is the case as it seems to have a trigger to damage dealt and therefore copies would stack. Oddly if your opponent is at two you'd end up putting their life to zero before the trigger happens.
that the angel only needs to attack and not even has to deal combat damage to the player is messed up in my opinion.
i mean i already dont like cards like this, but that only the attack counts... i mean you do not need much skill to play a bunch of creatures and tap them... i mean why give this card 6 defense ? as if wizards is sayn "you dont need to think, just tap cards"

Let's be real. If you aren't dealing with a creature that makes you gain life, and aren't killing the opponent, then you are losing, anyways. This is a fun win condition, but by all means it's not unfair or oppressive. It's like a mercy rule in sports. If the other team is 20 points ahead, let's call it and all go out for pizza.
*Snaps finger* Angel of destinythat’s the lose by attacking creature
you need 55 or more life in edh and 35 or more in other formats for the you lose to trigger
edit:nvm I forgot they exile at end of combat let’s change it to Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker And populating it with Ghired, Conclave Exile On top of that you get to keep one of the tokens if the alt lose doesn’t trigger
The angel seems absolutely terrible. Why would you ever want this? Any lifegain theme deck has better payoffs than this, and to trigger it without a lot of work it feels like you would have literally just won the game if you'd not had a creature fogging your attacks every turn.
Your creatures will still kill the opponent if they reduce them to zero before the trigger resolves.
Your creatures may not deal lasting damage to the opponent but are still more than capable of killing creatures, which my be the purpose of some of the wording.
If your goal is to win with the angel, you don't care about their life total.
This thing gets way out of hand with multiple copies. The triggers grow exponentially. With one attacking you get two triggers for life gain when its unblocked. But with two attacking you get eight triggers. Three attacking you get 18. Add on to that other creatures that aren't this angel and it becomes a real game ending threat.
This means that this card plays very well with lifegain triggers like Ajani Pridemate or Archangel of Thune.
This is hard to evaluate. Could range from being junk to being a very viable deck archetype. Well have to see.
Called the angel. I wish it was a felidar instead of an angel. Glad that they used a commander-friendly templating instead of printing another broken felidar sovereign

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
If you control Angel of Destiny but get your opponent to 0 life with combat damage, they still lose before their life gain trigger resolves.
unless false cure or tainted remedy is in use they can't die its life gain group hug effect but if you clone it it stacks for you and if attacked by the angel they just die if your life is 15+ above the starting total

They can die if you deal lethal before the Angel's ability resolves.
I love that angel. Beautiful art, too. But no Iona II (at least in mythic slot) makes me
Yeah I know... I share the feelings. She was such a iconic character for me. I just hope they didn't killed her behind the scenes while the battle between the Eldrazi and Zendikar.
Her ability helps dealing with stale boards, so that's quite useful. In Modern some decks provide infinite life or unbeatable boards. The angel can win by just attacking. It beats Worship strats for example. But I see more potential in a weaker environment like Pioneer.
Two scenarios then :
1- you already have enough life or will get there after an attack step, so you attack first, then cast the angel.
2- you need life to reach the win condition, so you cast the angel first, then attack with your whole board.

There's really been a lot of cost reduction for party, and that 7/5 is yet another case, but let's be real, you're here for the Angel.

The party cards are not.
Multiple angels stack.
The angel stacks with lifegain.
