Jeez... I like this card in theory,
but that Sorcery side is *so crappy* that I would struggle to include it in a deck
(especially since any decks I might consider are... Commanded by Angels )
So Zendikar has gone from Adventure World, to Eldrazi World, to Super Budget-Friendly World?
What they’ve done to Zendikar is criminal. What adventure world are they going for? Who the **** wants to gather a party in a world with a mindset of “everything is trying to kill you”? It’s such a hodgepodge flavor fail. Sorry but the DFC’s should come in untapped as well. If the land is active, why are they taking a passive stance on a world they’re defending from Nahiri? Emeria shouldn’t cost anything to come in untapped. It’s a mythic. Come on now. If it costed 4 life and tapped for WW, cool.

"The essence of every world, every spell and every thought is power. Nothing else matters, because nothing else exists."
Yeah, and balancing legendary lands has not always been a thing they've done, so I get it. I think it's stupid and lazy, but on some level I do get it. My feeling is don't name these lands like they're a legendary location if it's not a legendary card. When it started back in Ravnica 1.0, I did not like it and nothing has changed in the intervening 15 years.
I agree about your point. There is nothing preventing them from calling this Skyclave Ruin of Emeria implying that there were left multiple ruins when something as large as Emeria shattered - and this is just a ruin. And at the time you are free to consider it to be the ruin when that suits you.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

This card's pretty fantastic, especially since it's also a white land. These modal land/spell cards are so much better than you people are giving them credit for. Especially in a set that is coupled with Landfall. They're like the Swiss Army knives that a plane like Zendikar requires. This is a land in the first couple turns when I need it and a finisher when I draw it late.

"on resolution put the land side of this card into play"
else the whole land side is kinda ridicolous
3 life to get a mono color land untapped ?

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."
