That DND set looks awesome. Considering Magic was originally conceived as a distraction between DND campaigns this is a GREAT tie-in. I'm curious to see how they pull it off.

The Time Spiral II with "frameshifted" cards in old frames is reason enough to invest in it. Who doesn't want a Chalice with the original brown artifact frame?
Huh...I didn't realize until someone mentioned it that the D&D set is taking place of the core set. Or at least it feels like it anyway.

I'm really glad that Party replaces Allies - Allies was feeling more than a little played out when we last saw it but it was an essential part of the Zendikar flavor, so this is a great replacement.
It probably will quite a lot if that demon legend caring about clerics is true too.

I think you need to have 5 creatures with the relevant types in order to fill a party, not just 1 with every creature type. I'm sure this will be clarified before long.

Yes, they just clarified that in the WeeklyMTG stream. Someone asked about changelings, and they said each creature can only count towards one class in your party.
