Stoneforge too. There is a LOT of value in this set and cool that packs are like $16~.
But then again there is no MSRP anymore...
The Storm Scale did move Phasing up several notches so makes sense we’d see it again at least in Oubliette’s wording. Nice art and wording. Short and elegant

What an elegant wording on Oubliette. Still - expect that to be a dollar or less and only a small price impact on AN version.
Price memory will keep Oubliette at inflated priced but it's the sort of card that will come very hard to actually shift for anyone with lots of them. Its price is driven by Pauper demand and scarcity, no Pauper player is going to seek out the Arabian Nights version in the future as Pauper players aren't teching out their decks, it's a format driven by definition by its cheap cost.
It will probably drop to like $20 and stay there, but like I say be very hard to actually shift said cards like it is with many old cards where there is no actual demand. I mean say Oubliette had other reprints before, how much would it have always been then, probably like $10 look at the prices of Kird Ape and Flying Men which are probably more iconic cards at that price for their Arabian Nights printing.
Is Stone Forge Mythic making the showcase versions of sword of X and X from this set?

Oubliette is now just straight gas in Commander. An O-Ring that doesn’t let your opponent move their commander to the command zone. In addition, it can nullify stacks of equipment if they’re on a Creature. Straight gas I tells ya

It doesn’t do much, it is removed easily. Not sure why there’s excitement about it, other than using the new wording of phasing

basicly it means if a commander phases out they can't react to puting it back in the command zone so as long as oubliette stays the ycan't get their commander back

Since the commander doesn't leave the battlefield the commander is really pinned down and can't escape to the command zone and some colors have hard times removing enchantments.

It is certainly a decent option for black decks to try to "permanently" remove a commander, but it isn't like we don't already have effects like this. I think the hype is a little overblown. Phasing obviously makes it way better but I don't think it is good enough to actually take a slot as 9 times out of 10 I just want to destroy something. I don't want them to get their Avacyn back for example so putting in a removal spell that works better against Commanders but worse against everything else seems like a bad idea.
This oubliette reprint shouldve been in a more accessible product. No excuse other than greed.
Why? If it ends up being cheap enough you can just buy it on the secondary market, if it’s moderately expensive then it’s an uncommon helping to buoy the value of a product with quite a bit of jank in the rare slot(s). Either way that’s a win for just about everybody.

Oubliette's price will crash solely from this printing, since it was a supply problem like Berserk. Unlike Berserk, this is $30 and not $300, so the drop will be to single digits. I'm willing to bet $5 will be its final resting place, price-wise.

It won't even be $5, it will be like $1. There isn't that much demand for Oubliette, it's only priced so silly because it was printed once in Arabian Nights. It sees play in a handful of pauper decks, and isn't even a 4 of in those decks. Looking at Ultimate Masters for example there isn't even a $5 uncommon in the set.

I am pretty sure they will print an Oubliette in white the next few sets.
