I am honestly disappointed. The power level and the color balance are okay overall. But waiting for 1 year to get any new Angel creatures and than just getting a reprint is a major let down for me. I was hoping for at least 2 uncommons. Instead we got some angel token generators.

Zendikar is next which is known for angels. I'd be surprised if commander legends didn't have some as well.

Zendikar will have some
But I can tell you it will be a repeat tribe for zendikar with the elementals and the next omnath gaining another color
Gloom Sower: I first looked at the artwork and thought: Wow, is that thing hovering over an entire village?? Then I looked at casting cost and stats. Wow, that is a HUGE common!
there's a few really solid cards here, across all rarities
given the track record of secondary market prices with ikoria, eldraine, and theros... i'm not entirely sold on actually picking up any sealed product from this set at all yet. it doesn't strike me as a set that's just absolutely bonkers or anything, and after some deep thought most of what i initially wanted i can actually live without. i think almost all the value is tied into the mythics (once again) and you're going to be ***** out of luck if you don't open any of the decent ones, making the cost of sealed product really hard to recoup. that's not all that big of a change from normal but its still disappointing, especially when limited events aren't firing right now.

They put a lot of inherent value in here. Cards like Grim Tutor and Azusa, Lost But Seeking are reprints that were badly needed, although I'm curious to see how GT will affect Standard, Modern, and Pioneer.
Honestly I think people will look at this and say, "Ikoria what now?"

P.S: I still say they need to bring back Counterspell (as an uncommon)

The set is very good. I especially love the Kamigawa shrines Basri Ket, Tolarian Kraken, Wildwood Scourge and all the Geists. As far as reprints, I love that Azusa.
But I can tell you it will be a repeat tribe for zendikar with the elementals and the next omnath gaining another color
Zendikar's Angels got almost wiped out if I remember correctly. I think Linvala survived, though. Well I have no other choice to wait for Q4. Yeah my hope lays on the commander legend product.

Grim Tutor is only so expensive because of scarcity. The pre-release prices it's going for are absolutely insane, and I expect it to completely tank when people realise it's unplayable outside EDH. It won't do anything in Standard, Pioneer or Modern as basically the only way it works is in some kind of deck that wins the turn you play it as the glue that puts some combo together. That basically by definition means you need fast mana which virtually doesn't exist in the first two, and is mostly banned in the latter. The idea you are going to be able to play some sort of fair game with Grim Tutor just isn't going to happen, taking turn 3 off and paying 3 life is basically giving up the game in these formats.
Even Azusa probably doesn't actually do as much as people think. Has this card basically ever seen play without bouncelands to abuse it? I mean I've seen it in casual decks with Crucible/Strip too I guess. It's really hard to abuse its effect unless your entire deck is basically built around abusing its effect as it's not like decks are out there running 40 lands, and regular ramp decks just have so many better options right now.

it might get expensive again in the future though since people who don't have demonic tutor will be going bananas for this its the closet thing to it with 1 more mana and 3 life

Everybody loves Dire Mole! Next time maybe they’ll make it a beast so he can play nice with Garruk.
Also: still no beavers. I am disappoint.

Fixed that for you.

Read the flavor text of spellkeeper weird : "They worked well as a team, but they knew it couldn't last forever."
