It's crazy, but this is actually the first ETB disenchant creature in white. Green has had loads of them at this point. Wish it had more of a Reclamation Sage body than Indrik Stomphowler, but it's not bad.

Well, Kor Sanctifiers is a disenchant on legs if you kick it. But this good boy won't turn on you and take out one of your own.
i wish he had been a little smaller and a little cheaper to cast. like a 2/2 for 3w or just a color shifted rec sage
edit: i did find it hard to believe this is the first time this has been on a white creature, and yeah, its true. its also a step in the right direction for what white needs to be less than hot garbage in edh... so i wish it had been pushed a little more. green should not be able to do everything so well and this etb ability fits in perfectly with white's slice of the pie especially given that popping artifacts and enchantments was a huge part of white's identity for so long before shifting into green instead.
So Dogs as a tribe seem to have lost all their dignity compared to the proud hounds.
Eh, it makes sense that they would want M21 to showcase the rules update by straying away from the one-note hunting dog archetype that the term "Hound" implies. Granted a fat dog that accidentally smashes things is really silly but then again we've also gotten sillier.
Its like the My Little Pony cards, but as a set on its own.

Not a fan of pooping on lore like this, it makes the art a joke in a bad way.
Personally i dont think it poops on the lore at all
Magic has always had a little bit of fun mixed even. Dogs break crap they think are toys. This ones pretty realistic. Chill. Dont be the reason we can never have beebles again.

That is one thing that even drew me to magic, you have the serious and grittiness but you can also have jokes and have fun. For ever kill spell you can also have a fblthp. When your dark and gritty all the time you wel...look at the first several DC movies.

Exactly - it was the comic-style art of Weatherlight and Urza block that drew me to Magic. And let's not forget all the art of Phil and Kaja Foglio, and beebles.

I'm trying to understand how a dog is "My Little Pony" in any way? What's pathetic about this? What lore is this ruining? Do you think normal dogs don't exist in any Magic world? You made similar statements before and yet offer no explanation past thinking about MLP, a lot.
By chance, did you think Grizzly Bears was pathetic too? Watch out! It's a realistic animal next to dragons, angels, elves, goblins, and Beebles.
I like this kind of lighthearted, slightly silly flavor, as long as it's not overdone.
Not a fan of armored house dogs wearing capes, but this is nice. It's on the same level as Affectionate Indrik and I'm completely fine with that.

The original commenter seems to be completely unaware of how silly Phil and Kaja Foglio's work have been in the past, or the existence of cards like Sensation Gorger. I was going to mention Beebles too, but I see you've captured (sic.) those. There have always been a few silly things in the game. I think it's a combination of the MLP (his words, not ours) sense and the large male crotch in the artwork, and his or her reaction to those things that is making them uncomfortable.
MtG has plenty of "silly". I might not be a large fan of art and flavour that screws up my suspension of disbelief but I would be a fool to claim that the presence of such cards is a recent shift.

I think it's so weird to get so upset about dogs having a presence in Magic while not complaining about other normal creatures being in the game, like cats, boars, bears, horses, wolves, gorillas, and birds.
I can admit a couple of the dog's arts are a bit too goofy, but in no way are the arts or them being the dog type ruining the game in any way. It's quite alright to have some lighthearted art now and again. I'd much rather have that than crappy CG art like Grasp of the Hieromancer.

Pretty sure it's the wand of the wizard in the background, that the dog is chewing up, thus 'destroying' it (representing the ETB trigger).
He's a bad boi. But an awesome derpy fluffy boi.
