Song of Creation 1GUR
Enchantment, rare
You may play an additional land of each of your turns.
Whenever you cast a spell, draw two cards.
At the beggining of your end step, discard your hand.
I'm liking this philosophy of Temur being rewarded for casting a lot of spells, as seen on C20 aswell. Thoughts?

My favorite thing about MTG Salvation is the "Ignore User" feature.
Huh well that's going to be its own combo archetype. Jumps right past recycle and into bananas territory
Without a deck built around it to ramp mana beyond 4 or cast from the graveyard, this is deceptive since it will make you discard your hand after casting it, which might whiff your ability to combo off. But in decks like legacy with LED or modern with rituals, you might be able to resolve it and keep chaining that turn and win.
Welp, this thing is going to be the namesake of a combo deck where people will hope that WotC bans in Modern. I can already see Manamorphose being insane with this card.
Storm much? Play all sorts of Manamorphose-type free spells and any mana cards you can, then a bunch of 1 mana cantrips. This makes Opt into Ancestral Recall + Scry 1.

Well in standard we have the RUG adventure deck with Rosethorn Acolyte

Is there one floating around? When Eldraine came out on arena I was playing a Thousand-Year Storm deck with Rosethorn Acolyte. It worked pretty well assuming you didn't go up against Cavalcade. I suppose I should try it again now that I have Storm's Wrath.
Not to be all doom and gloom but I don't know if modern storm cares about this. It seems sexy as hell but 4, and an awkward 4, is a lot for that deck.
For sure, I think Modern Storm is pretty much optimized unless a game-changer comes out, but in EDH it could be a thing. Also, Manamorphose can be used to cast this in the first place.

That's true, actually, ritual into manamorphose into this, into mox amber with Baral in play may be good enough to consider. Mind you, from there in not sure where we get more R from to continue that turn. At least the discard clause is only a nominal drawback.
Edit, if the draw off the mox gets you a land, I think you have very high probability of winning that turn. Maybe this does make the cut as a singleton.
And knowing edh they can just laugh at that con of the card “discard your hand” part because there’s like hundreds among hundreds of “draw in a stick” cards in edh and also ways to get cards out of your yard to play or hand
Oh and the discard is not a cost so library of leng combos very nicely with this you can even put the cards on top in the right order so you can draw alot
i feel like there isn't a lot of support in these colors for what the spell does, but maybe i'm wrong
one friend (yes i do have some) suggest maelstrom wanderer or kydele/vial smasher want this, but i'm not sure i agree
You mean the two colors that make mana and the color that most wants you to draw every card in your deck don’t want this card that does both of those things?
I thought this was Jeskai when I first saw it, then I looked again. I have not heard of a Temur Control deck before, but I suppose anything is possible.
Growth Spiral--draw 3, drop a land, play a land? *shrug* Probably lots of combos out there to find.
If you end your turn without winning, you are in a very precarious situation (imagine top-decking a land and effectively time-walking yourself)
If we assume that we need to cast extra spells for free to get value, I’m not sure that I’d feel so comfortable deliberately keeping moxen in hand and playing this card “late”... and I’m hesitant to pack a deck filled with kobolds and such.
If I’m holding onto growth spirals and manamorphoses, meanwhile, I’d have to wait to get 6 specific mana before trying to go off... that doesn’t involve already using my manamorphoses and similar tricks.
There’s probably a good way to pull this thing off but I need some help seeing the proper line.

Not sure how you define "control" exactly but I don't think control wants this. Not having a hand on opponents' turns is not really where you want to be for that. This is more like Temur storm.
The drawback means you really want to just go off and win (or flame out) the turn you cast it, otherwise you are mostly at the mercy of top decking - unless you have another way to draw cards or "cast spells" on board already, maybe like something exiled on an adventure.

Yes, because it doesnt mean you draw your entire deck, it means youre able to go until you stall, then youre ****ed. Theres no temur colored legendary that really cares about chaining draws or spells together in a turn either. If you already have the means to continually cast, how necessary is this thing even?

Yes, I forgot about that end step trigger.

Not in standard, but any format with plenty of 0 mana gas to cook with.
Like mox formats.

Underworld Breach seems like a pretty fair card in comparison.

I’m a bit surprised to see this here, it’s a lot crazier than most stuff printed for Standard nowadays.
Also, neat Temur design space.
I’m guessing people are extra glad Gitaxian Probe is banned in Modern now!
Finally, lolol at a card like this not being Mythic while a card like Grim Flayer is
