its not that weird actually, Mothra got the same treatment the special name is because this is the Godzilla card , its real name is under the Godzilla name if someone can translate it.
You could t1 forest, llanowar elves, and then t2 play this for its mutate cost, resulting in a Turn 2 4/4 with reach and trample that can also tap for green mana?

May be fun to slap it on a Bogle in Pioneer turn 3. Not sure what 3 cmc enchantment I would drop though. Maybe a 2 of.

I think it comes into play tapped either on top or underneath your tapped llanowar elf if I viewed the video correctly on the mechanic.
Check out at about 3:30 on the Mutate mechanic video.

I should have specified, I just meant that it would have the ability to tap for mana, not that you could do it THAT turn.
Either way, you get a T2 naturalize effect, and then untap t3 with a 4/4 reach/trample mana creature that can continually naturalize again. Not shabby.

I'm only probably thinking this because I've been watching a lot of vintage cube streams, but this card seems like it should definitely get a shot at cube. The ability to quickly destroy an opponent's mox/signet and leave behind a 4/4 on your elf seems really good. Corner-case nonbos like the fact that noble hierarch is a human may hurt it a bit.

If an opponent uses some kind of removal after they’ve mutated, you’re down both.

Going straight into Gargos. Trample and reach go great on a vigilant 8/7, and targeting spells that can also be creatures are at a premium in that deck.
Please, mill me. Mill my important cards. Mill my lands. Mill it all. Because I will still deal 20 damage before you can mill 45 cards most every time.
